Excellent trip! - Excellent trip across Madeira! The 4 wheel drive was a unique experience with sight seeing unable any other way. Our driver was informative, fun, and a delight to narrate the journey thru the mountains and on to Porto Moniz. I would highly recommend taking this tour!

Amazing & breathtaking day in an open air jeep! - I had the most amazing day riding in the jeep with Eiogo. He showed us so much of the island and he was so knowledgeable. 😃 He showed us so many different types of plants too. It was truly one of my favorite days I’ve spent on my 10 day Portugal vacation. I would highly recommend riding with Eiogo and Green Devil Safari Tours!

Amazing Tour of West Madeira - This was an amazing first day tour for us in Madeira! Dino was so kind and took us to all the nice spots. He drove gently on the off-roading part for the people who were nervous. Plenty of great photo opportunities and got to do a little bit of everything. Lunch was phenomenal and we even did a wine tasting. This was a full day of fun. Thanks so much!

Unforgettable - Dino was a very nice and funny guide! We have had an unforgettable day! Climbing with the 4x4 is very nice and at times also exciting! In the afternoon we went swimming. Highly recommended if you like to laugh!

Amazing - Me and my family loved the whole thing the tour guide was brilliant (Nelson) told us loads about the island, the off roading part of the journey was awesome n the views to go with it were incredible. The lava made pools were an amazing part of the tour loved every minute would highly recommend this tour.

A great way to see harder to reach areas of the island - I'd read the reviews and thought it sounded great, and I wasn't wrong! It is a full day trip in an open top 4x4 up to the north western side of the island. There were six of us in total in our Jeep, but a small convoy of other Jeeps with us for much of the day. Our tour guide and driver was Nelson who was a most entertaining guide! He was very knowledgeable about the island, it's culture and geography, including the plants and animals. He was also able to speak to us in English and the other four in French (despite saying his French wasn't very good!). The guides all interact with each other and have a good laugh throughout the day. As we were a full car, I stayed sat in the front passenger seat but the rest of the group were able to stand up during the open top parts of the trip as we bounded up rocky hills. The weather was incredibly changeable all day (we certainly experienced all four seasons multiple times!) but it didn't detract from the day at all and we all had a great time. A couple of the natural pools were closed due to the mad weather, but we did have a brief swim in the sea at a black sandy beach in Seixal (pack your swimming costume!). In hindsight, I'd have probably not bothered with the 18 euro lunch offer at Porto Moniz and found somewhere else to get food, but this was largely because as a vegetarian my options were limited to "vegetable pasta"! This didn't detract from the day though. It was a brilliant way to see parts of the island we'd have struggled to reach from Funchal without a car, or even with a car given some of the terrain! We enjoyed it so much, we booked onto the Madeira Peaks east tour for later on in our holiday.
