Sublime, premium wines, perfect ending. La dolce vita! - Esther, cousin of owner Federico, was a wonderful, enthusiastic and highly knowledgable certified sommelier, who definitely knows what she is taking about, regarding Tuscan culture, specifically, Tuscan wines. Firstly, the wine tasting was nothing less than sublime and she sucks you right into the journey of flavors and goes in-depth of the type of grapes, farming, history, evolution, pairing with food and all the phases of tasting of each premium wine. Furthermore, It goes without saying that I was struck away by her positive attitude and her enthusiasm was very contagious. Her knowledge blew me away. Regarding the wine, I will let you decide for yourself. But as a self proclaimed red wine fancier, it will make you rethink your life choices about maybe moving to and live in Tuscany for the rest of your life! Lastly, yes to be really honest, the time was short, wines not that much and not cheap, I cannot lie. But the fantastic experience and the host were worth every single penny. The urge to drink the whole bottle of one specific Brunello was tempting and very hard to resist. Quality not quantity! On a side note, after being treated poorly due to some personal ‘incidents’ with some locals during my 10 days stay in Tuscany and Emilia Romagna, on my last day, Esther genuinely left a smile on my face afterwards for a very long time. Grazie Mille, Esther! I will definitely come back. Thirsty for more! La Dolce Vita :)

Great experience, highly recommend! - This was a great wine tasting experience! Federico, the owner, is the one who gives the wine tasting and he did an amazing job. We thought we knew a little about wine but he taught us so much we felt like amateurs, in a good way! We sampled five different wines and he even let us taste a bit from a 1969 vintage (it wasn't that good but he warned us that may be the case). The crypt was fascinating and just added to the experience, don't miss it!

Wine tasting in an Etruscan Cript! - Having a wine tasting in an Etruscan script was a totally unique experience! Frederico offered three different wines that were delicious. We also had him ship a case home! Nice experience that can be added to an afternoon.
