Our helper (refer to photo) will hand over your round trip train tickets for the local commute (approximately 40-minute travel time). A visit to Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is like a voyage back in time and a deep dive into history. Our specialist guide will conduct a 2-hour guided tour of the ancient town, featuring the major public landmarks and some of the most renowned Pompeii ruin residential buildings. Once the guided tour concludes, you are welcome to either return or continue your exploration of Pompeii independently. Don’t forget to reserve your spot for the first Sunday of each month, when entry to the site is complimentary for everyone!
- Children must be accompanied by an adult and have copy of ID as a MUST
- Due to strict train schedules this tour is not compatible with cruise passengers or if your hotel is outside the Sorrento Peninsular
- Once checked in with Amelia she will indicate you go upstairs and wait for your guide, together you will board the 10:00 AM Train. For bookings with children, you will need to show a copy of a document that shows proof of the child’s age for free tickets (a photo on your phone is fine) Once on board train, stop for tour is POMPEII VILLA DEI MISTERI, please do not leave the train at other station. We cannot be held responsible if you board the wrong train or leave the train at the wrong station.
