Ancient history, modern vibes - Absolutely stunning! A well-balanced tour of ancient and mediaeval history with a touch of modern references. In addition to this, Antonia's style and energies really elevated the whole experience.

Tour with Slavko in Split! - My sister and I did a tour with Slavko and it was absolutely amazing! He was so knowledgeable and funny. He answered all of our questions and provided great recommendations for local attractions, restaurants and things to do. The tour covered all of the main areas of Split and was a great way to start our trip and get out bearings in old town. It was well worth the time and money and would absolutely recommend checking it out!! 5/5 stars ⭐

The experience depends on the guide: we had a good one - The Diocletian Palace is a must-see if you visit Dalmatia. The entrance is free, so you can see it yourself, but you will miss a lot of historical background. So a tour seems like a wise choice, but the value of the experience depends on the quality of the guide. Our guide was a local history teacher who had truly complete knowledge of Split. She knew not only the standard material, but was able to add perspectives to our questions, like the events in the war in 1991. I cannot vouch for any other guides, but if the others have the same level the Viator tour is definitely worth the money (1-2 Euros more than other companies).

Slovak is the man - After our cruise excursion, we came back to Split and decided to do a last minute private tour of the Diocletian Palace. We were met by one of Croatia’s very own native son whose name is Slovak. He was very friendly, punctual, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. We would recommend his services to anyone looking to not only learn about the palace, but also get a taste of the culture. Slovak was also willing to take pictures and we felt glad about having done that experience. We would not want to do it any other way. Thanks Slovak!

Good introduction to Split’s history - We enjoyed learning about the history of Split, our guide Karla spoke perfect English and made the walk interesting and enjoyable. She always picked stops in the shade, which is very much appreciated given the high temperatures of summer. Highly recommend this short tour as an introduction to the city.

Excellent content, but sometimes hard to hear - Excellent in content, especially the beginning recap of larger historical context. I had trouble hearing everything, otherwise perfect.

Okish - It was OK, but I found that our tour guide FRANE spoke way too quickly and sometimes swallowed his words, it was hard to follow him. I wish he could have said some interesting things also for the kids to try to draw them in a bit. It was also sometimes hard to hear him. Some electronic device / earpiece would have made it bettter.
