The Etna 2000 Morning jeep excursion is tailored to offer everyone an opportunity to explore the significant locations of Etna whilst gaining a comprehensive understanding of its history, development, and activity. Initiated from the lava flows that previously devastated the Etna villages, our trip culminates approximately 2000m above sea level at Mount Etna’s skiing and tourist hotspot. Along the route, we’ll visit a mesmerising volcanic cave (lava tube), admire the renowned Valle del Bove from a viewpoint, equipped with helmets and torches. With our keen guides by your side, we’ll enjoy a delightful trek around side craters like the Silvestri Craters. Mount Etna hosts around 300 dormant lateral craters. Our 4X4 jeeps facilitate the journey to various significant locations. Throughout the excursion, our guides will furnish all the necessary insight into Etna. By the end of the journey, we anticipate you’ll adore Etna as much as we do.

Stunning Tour with passionate guide Fabrizio - The Tour and our guide Fabrizio was really excellent !!!! Fabrizio is really passionate about Etna, its geology, history, biology… we have been informed about so many new information. Also the weather was beautiful si we had stunning panoramas :) This tour is absolutely must whenever you are in Sicily. 11 stars from 10!!! Amazing, fabulous, professional, friendly and passionate ✨🌋 everybody must go for this tour 👌🤌

Don't Miss This Tour - Fabrizzio was fantastic! We were able to take a truly off road tour with an opportunity to see a lateral lava cave that was so interesting. His knowledge of volcanos and the local floral and fauna was endless. We were so happy that we booked this tour.

A great and Fascinating tour! - We booked a Jeep tour, which took 4 hours from the meeting point. We chose Aetna Moves as they were no. 1 rated on several web sites including tripadvisor.
The tour covered jeep rides, with a fair bit of off-road, cave exploration, 2-3 viewing points on the way up and above valle della bove, and tour of the craters up at 2000m.
Fabrizio was an exceptional tour guide, covering our tour in both Italian and English but making it all sound so simple. The kids (and we parents!) learned so much about the history and recent activity of Etna, associated mythology, surrounding nature and vulcanology generally.
This is a well spent €70 per person!

unforgettable adventure - It was amazing tour. Fabrizio is fantastic guide. He explained everything about Etna - history, geology, biology. He cared about every tourist in the group and bring us to really nice and unforgottable places of Etna. We absolutely enjoyed this tour and recommend it.

Memorable excursion to Etna - We had a wonderful morning excursion up Mt Etna with Fabrizio, he was particularly attentive to our 8 year son but was engaging with us all. his tour was informative from the moment we got in his much loved Land Rover Defender. As others have commented he told us the history, geology and ecology of the mountain with a delivery understood by us all. I would definitely recommend his Excursion.

Excellent tour of Mt. Etna! - This is an excellent tour of Mount Etna. A real off-road tour, totally off the beaten track.
Fabrizio was our guide and he is so informative about the history of the volcano and all its inner workings. We learned so much. We highly recommend this tour!

Majestic, Awesome, and Educational! - Fabrizio taught us all so much about Mount Etna: its geography, its history, and its impact. He's not just a guide, but a geologist and training vulcanologist. He has a genuine passion for the volcano and what it means to the island and the region. His notebooks alone were fascinating. He was patient and caring with our whole group (ages 8 to 75) and answered every question with an affection for the topic. I'd love to go on another tour with him as soon as I can.

Great trip to Etna - A fun and interesting excursion to Etna. Our guide was highly knowledgeable about the history, geology, and botany of Etna and its surroundings.
Our guide was flexible, and funny and took us on an alternative trip to the summit. We drove off-road and visited various locations, among them being a volcanic cave.
It was a great day for both the kids and the adults.
We highly recommend this alternative trip to Etna.

This was the best! - Our personal guide, Fabrizio was fantastic! He was so personable and enthusiastic about giving the tour. His comfortable Jeep took us to lava caves, and to craters of Etna. Not only did he give us a detailed history of Etna, but also was so knowledgable about the vegetation on Etna, including flowers and wild, edible plants. He is a kind man whose soul is part of Etna. It was the highlight of our trip. There are many tours of Etna, but I am so happy that I chose Etna moving! Fantastic!!
