Additional Information

In ‘A Journey Through Time in Trujillo’, you’ll take a delightful stroll without skimping on historical detail: tales, facts, and fables from our city. You’ll also stop by the Trujillo film sets where shows like ‘House of the Dragon’ are filmed, and we’ll point out prime spots for photo opportunities.

Our adventure commences outside the city walls, in Trujillo’s main square, with a trip back in time to set the historical context. We’ll delve into the stories of figures like Francisco Pizarro, landmarks such as the Church of San Martín, and palaces dating back to the 16th century.

As we venture onward into the city, we journey back to the Middle Ages. Our route takes us past Trujillo’s ‘Strong Houses’ and Francisco Orellana’s abode. You’ll catch sight of the local pool, visit the Church of Santa María la Mayor, hear tales of the enigmatic Julia Tower and its intriguing emblem. At the end, I’ll introduce you to the Pizarro family’s residence and the 10th-century Arabic fortress (Trujillo’s Castle).

Good - Good, but the information FAILS. Very large group and somewhat repetitive explanations and sometimes we waste time in the historic square.
