Visiting Franklin the Turtle's Home - It’s a beautiful park for those who are passionate about it. The staff who welcome you are very pleasant, the turtles are very well looked after (only problem at the end of October the turtles start to hibernate) I highly recommend stopping there if you pass by there on your way to Ajaccio.

To visit!! - Small park focused on land and water turtles. Multiple species, including large ones. Ticket amply repaid by the visit of at least a couple of hours, ideal for children and interesting for adults to spend an alternative morning on the beach or if you are passing through.

Nice surprise ! - Nice surprise ! At first it was more to please the children... too hot, too many jellyfish... what if we went to see turtles?! In the end, a great experience, informative and fun for the whole family. This reserve is a true haven of peace for the turtles but also for those who come to observe them. A competent and fascinating guide, a rather well thought-out place and a clear mission: protect, care for, study incredible animals!

Turtle & Tortoise Sanctuary 🐢 - I was in awe of this turtle and tortoise sanctuary. I spent over three hours there and am so glad I had the pleasure of visiting. I contacted the manager of the facility prior to visiting and was instructed that that the best form of transportation was taxi. I hired a private driver and it was about a 30 minute drive to the park just outside Ajaccio. The staff at the sanctuary were friendly and accommodating. There’s a cafe where you can purchase hot food and a lovely gift shop. I highly recommend visiting. 🐢

I saw turtles that I would never have seen in my life! - Day spent in this very nice park to see something different and break up life at sea. The park is very well kept and in the morning you can follow the guides who explain a little about how these graceful animals live (in French).

Something different - In land, away from the coast lies this little tortoise sanctuary, home to 100s of different species of tortoises. Much of the sanctuary is in the open with very little shade, but there’s a lovely, shaded cafe located at the entrance/exit, which sells a variety of food and drinks. There’s also a small souvenir shop onsite.

Don't buy these tickets unless you check out the transportation situation - I would like to warn others not to buy these tickets. We tried for over 2 hours to get a taxi or Uber to take us to the location but were unable to get there. We could have taken a train and walked 20 minutes but there was no train coming back before our cruise ship all-aboard time. We really wanted to visit the Turtle Park but getting there is a huge problem.
