Udawalawe National Park is a national park on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces in Sri Lanka. The park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir.

Amazing Experience - I can recommend this tour. The contact and arrangement with WhatsApp was easy. He suggested a another day because of the weather and that was a good idea. We saw elephants monkeys birds crocodiles and a lot of other animals.

Recommended value - We were greeted very warmly at our starting point.
Our tour was very nice and we learned a lot from our guide.
He knows a lot about the animals in the park and was able to answer every question straight away.
He knew exactly where the animals were, so we didn't have to wait long to see one.
We were lucky enough to see a baby elephant that was around 2-3 months old.
There is enough time to take photos or take in the moment, as the guide only moves on when you are ready.

Excellent safari - We had a great time - so much to see in the park including elephants, monkeys, crocodiles, painted storks and so many birds! Gimhana was super knowledgeable and respectful of the animals. He also helped arrange transport to the park from our hotel in Rekawa which was great. Would recommend!

Great experience - Good trip. We saw a lot of elephants and few other animals. Safe trip from and to the hotel, good communication and no rush during the trip in the park. Do recommend :)

Fantastic Safari with Gimhana - We had a fantastic time on the Udawalawe safari. Our guide Gimhana was full of knowledge, very friendly and even organised a taxi back to Ella for us. We were lucky enough to see so many elephants, water buffalo, crocodiles, eagles, monkeys and deer. Would highly recommend. Thanks so much!

Amazing! - Me and my friend had a private 4 hour tour with Gimhana. He was fantastic and we saw such amazing sights! He was so knowledgable about the animals too. Highly recommend ❤️❤️

Great safari - We loved our safari with Gimhana. Very knowledgeable about all the animals which made the experience so special! He would always get away from the crowd - so at most times we were watching the elephants on our own!

Highly recommended! - The safari tour is unique and exciting. Our guide was phenomenal! In addition to having given a super price compared to other agencies, he immediately explained to us in every detail any animal or plant we came across.
We thought it would be difficult to spot enough species but after 1 hour and a half we had already seen many elegant and many other species.
