- PVH9+9X San Isidro - This visit is an educational and cultural experience in which you will learn about your positive impact to llama farming communities and mountain ecosystems. The visit includes a trek with llamas herded in the traditional Andean style in company of local llama farmers. After learning about the project you will assist your hosts packing the llamas with your lunch and help herd them up the mountain with beautiful scenic views. The hike can be easy to moderate difficulty and lasts around 40 minutes uphill at slow pace, you will then reach a resting point where the meal will be cooked in the traditional Andean style under hot stones. During this time you may learn more about your hosts while tasting a variety of potatos and tubers. You will den hike down the same path with an amazing view of the Pumahuanca Valley. The total trekking distance is 2 k.m. (1.2 miles).
