Additional Information
It’s vital to wear proper mountain attire for this activity due to safety considerations. Should you not possess the suitable gear, there is an option to lease it.
Our journey commences as we traverse along national route 3 for approximately 17 kilometers to get to the entrance point. Our hike starts at the trail’s parking area, which promptly ushers us into the heart of the wilderness.
The trail brings us near a beaver dam and guides us across the valley until reaching a peat bog. Here, it will parallel the Esmeralda river until its inception at the Esmeralda lagoon. After a final ascent, we will arrive at the lagoon that is frozen in the wintertime and captivates us with its beautiful hue in the summer.
Provided the weather is agreeable, we will break for lunch at the lagoon, taking in the breathtaking sight of the Albino glacier, the lagoon, and the surrounding landscape. Subsequently, we will trace the same path back to the return vehicle waiting to shuttle you back to your accommodation.

Tolle Wanderung! - The trekking was great. The guide explained everything very well and we fest safe. The bus came on time!!! The first activity, when the bus came on time. And the lunch was great. It was nice to have the choice for warm drinks.

Everything excellent. They give you recommendations that I suggest you follow to have a better experience. - Everything excellent. The guides are very friendly and informed. I emphasize that after the tour they leave you at your place of lodging. Something great given that it is a somewhat tiring tour but a thousand times recommended.

Emerald Lagoon - The truth is that it was incredible, I would recommend wearing good boots, a jacket and waterproof pants in case it rains and because of the mud that is generated on the trail, as well as a medium-sized backpack to carry water, the lunch that the company gives you, and a hat and gloves, etc. Violeta was my guide and the truth is that it is clear that she loves what she does and was able to solve problems that I made to her. I did three treikking with Arpontrekking and each one was done with a magical tranquility and accompaniment. Enjoyment - Excellent experience that exceeded my expectations. Unmissable! - The operator is excellent! The information sheet and instructions are sent well in advance, which gives us security. The guide Eugénia has experience, patience and is very careful with everyone under her care. It teaches a lesson about the city, about the biome, what we are seeing as we walk! Carry our hot water on your back for the infusion that will be served to us! An incredible experience!! I recommend it 100%.

Incredible Staff - First, they are the agency that really wants you to have an incredible nature experience. They tell you information, share anecdotes about the place, not to mention the guiding is excellent. See when you say...that you feel like you went with friends for a walk...literally! Without leaving aside professionalism. We recommend!!

They just want to charge more for renting something that is not necessary. You can go without a guide in summer without a problem, it is marked - Terrible coordination between your sales people and your guides. They say one thing and others say another. They did not comply with the agreed time. They said that at 8 o'clock then at 9 o'clock and then not at 10 o'clock. I wanted to cancel and the WhatsApp person said there was no problem and within an hour they changed what they had told me. You can go without a guide, it is not worth hiring them
