Additional Information
The adventure begins with air-conditioned coach pickup from Albir, Altea, Benidorm or Calpe*. The journey to Valencia lasts approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, you’re granted 5-hours of free exploration in the city. The bus stops at Torres de Serranos - the entrance to the city’s historical center and a quick stroll away from the main cathedral and hub.
Keep in mind that Valencia is a bustling city, especially during specific periods throughout the year.
An English-speaking escort will accompany the trip, setting timings and meetup spots on the day. The return journey will follow a reverse order, dropping off at the initial pickup spots. Starting at the last pickup location, the last stop is always in Albir. The services from Calpe and Altea only operate from June through November.
Note that the activity duration is an estimate and may vary.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Manual collapsible wheelchairs can be stored in the coach luggage hold, however, the driver is unable to assist passengers boarding and disembarking due to insurance regulations
- Dress code is casual smart, comfortable walking shoes are recommended
- All passengers must be suitably dressed to travel. A top covering the torso and shorts as a minimum are required. “mesh style” or sheer clothing will not be permitted.

Wonderful Valencia - From start to finish it was a wonderful day. The walking tour with Maria was fantastic. Kathy then gave us a choice of what to do. I pick Oceanicgrapic which although a little expensive, I thoroughly enjoyed. O n tge way home the driver Vincente took detour due to a bad accident on the motorway. Excellent day.

Valencia Day Trip - Great Daytrip from Benidorm with a very friendly guide called Kathy. The driver was great and made good time going and returning. The options for guided tours was as expected but I decided to go my own way around town in the morning visiting the churches and market. Taking plenty of photographs. I met up with Kathy and the coach to go to Oceanographic early afternoon and had a great visit. I love Valencia and it was great doing some familiar things and some new. Can't recommend the tour enough and hopefully you will get Kathy who is friendly and knowledgeable.

Fun, surprising and educational - What an enthusiastic tour guide! (Kathy), good at English and Spanish with a touch of humor. The bus was on time and the company was fun. Everything was well explained and the extra booked guide was also great. You were given enough time for everything and good tips for lunch. I will book an excursion there again for my next holiday.

Highly recommended, a beautiful city to visit. We would go again. - Really enjoyed it. Valencia is a beautiful city. Kathy the tour guide was fantastic and very informative.
My Daughter (15) and I did the walking tour in the morning with Elissa. She was very enthusiastic and showed us the interesting historical sites as well as giving us tips on where to eat and directions back to different areas. We had about an hour free time then in Valencia centre.
In the afternoon we chose to do our own thing but slightly different from the others. We went to the science park and then to the shopping centre. We had about 3.5 hours to do what we liked. There were options to stay in city centre, go to the aquarium at an extra cost or go to the football stadium at an extra cost.
I would definitely highly recommend a visit but one day doesn't seem long enough.
The coach was very comfortable, air conditioning but you can't use the loo or eat on board.
Kathy went above and beyond. She even told us about different areas of interest in Benidorm which gave is a little more out of the day.

Very exciting - I enjoyed the trip very much. good, kind and helpful tour guides. there was a lot to see both on a tour of the city and on a guided tour of the Mestella stadium. there was a lot of history and ticking construction works, I recommend going there

Day trip to Valencia - Pickup was very efficient and smooth. Arrived to Valencia within a couple of hours and took the walking tour. It was very hot on the day, that couldn't be helped but it was the only downside to making it more enjoyable. We decided to do our own thing for the afternoon though we could have picked from either two excursions.
Valencia is a beautiful city and worth seeing however the day was very hot so not a lot of sightseeing could be done and the would be ideal for a city break to have more time to explore as it's a big city.
Pickup in the evening was no issue, took about 2.30hr to get back into Benidorm.
The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable.

To long on a coach with a locked toilet! - Old town Valencia was very nice & we chose to do it under our own steam.
It says it is 1 hour 45 mins, but is actually nearer 5 in total with pick ups/drop offs.
The company who we went with had a toilet on board but was locked & we were told it was their policy not to use it. Ended up someone asked to stop & then half the bus got off at a petrol station & the guide told them to be quick or try & hold it!!!
