Be prepared for a wonderful culinary... - <p>Be prepared for a wonderful culinary experience and bring your appetite to the Banquet. No problem staying awake for the Show which has marvelous, colorful scenery, dazzling costumes, terrific live music and lots and lots of energy.</p>

Tang Dynasty Show and Dumpling Banquet - We enjoyed the Dumpling Banquet very much! It was at a dumpling place downtown with a view of the Drum Tower. My kids enjoyed the show too.

Banquet and show - 12 different dumplings were served followed by a musical show depicting the Tang Dynasty. Food food if you like dumplings and colourful show.

It's really touristy. The food was... - <p>It's really touristy. The food was great, maybe a little cold by the time it gets to you, but the wide assortment of dumplings is impressive. I could have eaten a little more though. The show was nice, the singing and dancing was great, just some irritations with cell phones ringing and people taking pictures. You need to make sure you get a good seat though, a lot of the seats are not tiered and if someone tall sits in front of you its over. The tour company itself was nice, they picked us up and dropped us off, we probably could have set it all up ourselves but we only had a day in Xian and we did not want to miss anything.</p>

Okay, so it's a tourist attraction... - <p>Okay, so it's a tourist attraction. But it's a really entertaining one! Colorful costumes, beautiful cast, some fun surprises not going to spoil it!...all in all a very pleasant evening and definitely photogenic. Noticed that one of the numbers mirrored a statue in town...gives it some authenticity as to the rest of it...I have no background in Tang dynasty so I have no idea how authentic any of it is. The dumplings were fun, the staff trying to sell mementos tableside was not too pushy, all in all a very good experience.</p>

I loved the show. However, for the... - <p>I loved the show. However, for the dumpling banquet I was seated in the upstairs floor. By the time they took me downstairs where the show took place there was hardly any room left. Eventually I was seated towards the back and had to raise my self out of my chair several times to take a glimpse of the wonderful show.</p>

Large assortment of dumplings but... - <p>Large assortment of dumplings but pretty average. The show was OK. Please keep in mind, you will not be moved to the seats in front of stage. You will watch from your banquet table. Didn't feel it was worth the price.</p>

When we arrived at the original... - <p>When we arrived at the original restaurant, our guide said that the restaurant and show had been cancelled due to an error and we ended up driving around in rush hour traffic to be taken to another restaurant and show. It meant we only had about 20 minutes to eat our meal and we felt very rushed and did not enjoy the experience. </p> <p>We were driven to the other show, but missed the start. What we saw was very interesting and we enjoyed the performance, but felt the poor organisation had ruined our night. We would not recommend or use Han Tang International Travel Services again.</p>
