Great time. The whole day was great - Med was great. Shai hills was peacful and amazing. Royal Senchi lunch and cruise was great. Med took all of our picture and videos. Great hype-man. The Akosombo dam closed which sucked but the rest of the day worked out. Shai HIlls then the Cruise at Senchi was the best parts of the day. We really loved that Med and driver Steven pick us up and dropped us off at home. There we were snacks, drinks, music. Wonderful time.

Brilliant Trip with a Great Company - This was the second trip my grandfather and I had booked with Med and his company ‘Here is Ghana Tours’. He is incredibly professional, phoning 2 weeks ahead of the trip to introduce himself and confirm some details. Throughout the day, he provided plenty of drinks and tasty snacks such as fresh coconut and cooked snails. In addition, to the request of my grandfather he stopped on the Adomi bridge as this was an area he visited many times as a child. The little things like that went a long way for both of us. Frank, the driver, was very well-mannered and easy to talk to as well as being a great driver. Shai Hills is a spectacular place to visit. Whilst there, we saw many wild animals such as antelopes, baboons, zebras and hornbills. In addition, I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure of rope climbing up some of the rocks to get up to the incredible viewpoints. There are easier routes to reach these points which my grandfather used with the support from Med and the tour guide. A truly unforgettable experience. Akosombo dam is an impressive sight, It was interesting to learn about how it provides the country with so much electricity. However, we felt that it wasn’t really set-up for tourists yet, as there wasn’t much to do. Also, for the distance traveled, it would have been nice to be able to spend a bit longer at the Dam and be allowed to see some more of the dam. Overall, a fantastic, personal and professional tour provided by a caring tour guide. Would definitely recommend using the company and visiting Shai Hills as well as seeing Akosombo Dam.
