Ethiopia Travel forum - We recently had an amazing trip to Arba Minch ,jinka and Turmi. It was a 5 day trip and we were really worried since it was our first trip to africa . We were a family of 4 that is we have 2 kids who were very small 4 and 2 years old. So we wanted everything planned and sorted before we started off. To our surprise, we had an amazing travel Agent Mickey who helped us with all our bookings. We had a very good stay in all places and I really enjoyed the stay. We were arranged with a cab which was with us the entire trip. Driver Deepak was really good and very patient to guide us and take us to all incredible places. He gave us insights about the place and made us feel comfortable throughout our tiring long car journeys. We were also assisted by travel guides in jinka and arba minch who explained the history of Ethiopia .They were really patient enough to explain the history of each and every small detail about the place. Wonderful Trip - Our trip with Danakil Depression tours to Singapore and Ethiopia was awesome.. We started for a five day trip from omo valley and were provided with Tour manager Mr Mickey to travel with our team . Mr. Mickey managed the trip crew so carefully that we always felt safe and comfortable. Every time he paid special attention to keep everyone as group and took pain to manage all our activities well organised. He did make sure that we didn’t wait anywhere, let it be in the hotel for getting the keys or for getting the tickets to enter the theme parks. One of the best trip in my life - A wonderful experience with Danakil Depression Tours during our 4 nights and 5 days trip to omo valley We were guided by Mr. Mickey , an experienced tour guide, who has a great personality and was well mannered. Was my parent's third trip with them and myfirst experience . wonderful omo valley - Our trip to omo valley was very enjoyable and memorable one. We had a pleasant journey. Our stay was very comfortable. Life time experience - Perfectly organized photo trip to the south We were there in December 2023 together with the Munich professional photographer Günter Lenz, on a photo trip through the south of Ethiopia. This trip was organized by Mickey, owner of the agency "Danakil Depression Tours. The perfect organization took us to the tribes along the Omo River. The trip went without any problems and gave us a lot of opportunity to get in touch with the locals. Our experienced driver and guide , with knowledge of the country's culture and good knowledge of the German language, rounded off the trip perfectly. Extraordinary Service - I had the most extraordinary adventure with Mickey. An English friend had recommended that I go with Mickey so I was expecting an excellent experience but it was even more inspiring, fascinating and surprising than I had been led to believe. Since then, I have recommended Mickey to other friends. Like me, they have returned from exploring the Lower Omo River Valley with Danakil Depression Tours , singing his praises. Mickey really knows his stuff having been born and grown up in that area. Also, he has also studied the tribes and developed his knowledge to the extent that he has written a book, now in its second edition, which describes the various tribes and what makes each one unique from the others. Mickey seems to personally know everyone in the areas we visited. He speaks superb English and one could see, everywhere we went, that the locals trusted and respected him. 5 Days Oomo Valley Tours - Our family had a great experience with Danakil Depression tours. We visited omo valley during Christmas vacation. Staring from the day I booked my trip with 'danakil.' we were getting timely instructions and updates from their team. From the time we reached bole addis airport till or return we were well taken care of by danakil team especially by our tour manager Mickeyl. He was like a family member making us all families feeling the same affection towards him. He catered to our needs with utmost care and professionalism. Mickey to team danakil. Most wonderful and authentic experience - I have all wonderful things to say about this trip and our guide Micky. We had the most authentic experience visiting the various tribes and villages. It was probably one of the most memorable trips that I have experienced. Micky our guide made sure we were always taken care of and in a short time became like family.

Excellent tour and guide of the OMO VALLEY - If you have a chance to do this tour with Mickey, I’d highly recommend it. The cultural experience was unmatched. I left with such warm feelings of the Ethiopian tribes.

lifetime experience - As a professional photographer I have had a chance to work with many guides over the years in dozens of destinations and my experiences range from bad to good. Mickey is, to date, the best guide and fixer I’ve ever worked with. Not only was he always able to adjust our schedule to meet my VERY specific and challenging demands, but he always managed to ensure I came away with amazing images! But what I liked most about him was his way with people! I don’t think I ever saw him without a smile and he would always handle any situation in such a sweet and confident way to make you want to smile as well!
