Additional Information
This tour will take you all over the valley and visit over 7 villages located near or around Central Antigua. We will visit places like a local indegenous clothing museum, a Jade Factory, a chocolate factory, and El Cerro de la Cruz one of Antigua´s most iconic landmarks. You will have many aerial views of the city, birds eye views of the volcanoes and a close encounter with local Mayan villagers that live around Antigua. You will drive through the cobblestone streets, paved roads, and some off road during this amazing must do activity in Antigua. To finish the tour off, we stop at a local restaurant located on the side of the El Hato mountain called Restaurante El Tambor.

Excellent experience, highly recommend! - I’ve book two great ATV tours with Simoon. I did the sunset ATV in Antigua which was great and my favourite was the Lake Atitlan ATV village tour. Pedro my guide was amazing, so attentive and friendly. We went to hidden gem spots around the lake, less touristy places which was so much better. The team are super friendly and helpful too with any queries you may have. Highly recommend as the best company to book a tour with.

An Excellent Tour through Picaresque Villages - The Villages tour was the second tour we booked with Simoon. Oscar, our tour leader, was excellent. He made sure we were well prepared to drive the ATVs through the busy streets and roads to the villages. The ride was very enjoyable and scenic. We stopped at a chocolate factory, jade shop and winery which were all quite touristy, and seemingly obligatory. The joy was going to the local markets, churches and squares where Oscar shared his knowledge of the areas we visited. We also stopped at a local restaurant for ceviche and cold drinks. This tour was one of the highlights of our visit to Antigua.

Amazing experience - I had an amazing time ! Our guide, Oskar, was really nice and knew a lot. He brought us to many different and amazing places that we enjoyed a lot. You can also book directly with the agency if you go to their locals or search “Simoon agency” on internet.

Great experience, Lester was a great guide! - The Antigua ATV villages tour was an amazing experience! I booked this tour after my sister said this tour was her favorite part of her trip to Guatemala earlier in the year, and the tour did not disappoint. Lester did a great job leading our tour and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was patient in explaining the details of the different places we visited and is very passionate about his country and showing people its beauty and culture. I learned so much during the day and highly recommend booking this tour!

One my BEST days in Antigua, Guatemala - I had the BEST time on the Villages Tour with Lester. I was the only person booked for the morning tour which was a bonus to get a private tour. We drove all around the countryside outside of Antigua and I loved all of it. Lester was so knowledgeable and taught me about Volcano Agua, making tortillas, the different textile belts the ladies where and so much more. I learned something different at every stop and I felt completely safe riding with Lester even though I had never driven an ATV before. Be sure to bring spending money because you will want to support the local establishments and take home some goodies. I want to bring all my friends back and do this tour again. Thanks to Lester for sharing your childhood stories with me. It made the tour even more special.

Super fun day in/around Antigua! - This tour was a great way to see the area around Antigua. Tino, our guide, was really fantastic; friendly, helpful, and fun. Half of our group was Spanish-speaking, and he made sure the English-speaking side of us felt comfortable got the details we needed throughout the day. The tour itself has a nice variety of stops and activities so there was something for everyone, and the pacing felt appropriate for everything on the agenda. We actually toyed with the idea of going on another trip with this group while we were there because the first went so well, but we didn't have time. Definitely recommend!

Awesome Day - If learning about the culture, traditions, and day-to-day lives of the people is what you enjoy, then I definitely recommend the villages tour. I ended up having a solo experience with Eric as my guide and it was such a nice day!! Comfortable driving, super interesting stops, and easy conversations.

One of the best experiences of my life! - The Antigua villages tour was absolutely amazing!!! We covered so much ground, saw so many beautiful views, were immersed into the culture, and had a fantastic experience. Even with a few hiccups (road blockages), that didn’t stop our tour guide from giving us the best day of our lives! Thanks Gio!

Fun, Entertaining, and Insightful - My wife and I had such a great time on this tour. Our guide Alejandro was amazing.
We had only ridden ATV's once before, but fear not, no experience is needed as the ATV's (automatics) are in great shape and they teach you all you need to know. Before you know it you feel very comfortable driving one. The day flies by as you travel through and visit some very cool villages making stops along the way. The whole activity provided us with a fresh perspective on the working life of everyday people in Guatemala. Very reasonably priced as well.....
