The Salar de Atacama stands as Chile’s most expansive salt flat, created by a basin devoid of drainage that accumulates water from the San Pedro River and several rivulets, permitting water to seep in from the mountain range.
Within its bounds lies the captivating Laguna Cejar, a lagoon with a striking turquoise hue. The elevated saline concentration in the water leads to buoyancy, ensuring a soothing soak and an enjoyable time.

A great excursion. It was... - A great excursion. It was great to go in Laguna Cejar, but also nice seeing the salt flats around ojos del salar and learning about the different organisms. A good sized group and the snack was obviously great. I definitely enjoyed this Laguna over the other one I did on this trip.

A memorable day - The lagoons are beautiful and, despite the water being a little cold, the experience of not sinking in the water, as well as the cocktail at the end of the afternoon, certainly make this a memorable day!

Beautiful - Most incredible photos, unique experience of swimming in a lake that doesn't sink but is super cold. Incredible and with the guide Javier it was even better! Great knowledge of the desert, bringing us a lot of knowledge, making us feel part of this wonderful desert.

Great time, great snacks! - My family and I had a great time in this tour. The tour included visiting the Laguna Cejar, in which we were able to swim in, as well as Laguna Tebenquiche which was an amazing sight. Finally, we had a sort of picnic under a tree with pisco, chesses, grapes, and so much more. A very broad explanation to the area and volcanos was given, though I would have wished for a more thorough description. All in all, I would definitely do this tour again!

Dead Sea Chile version! - Lagoons located in the Salar de Atacama, with a high concentration of salts, which makes you float and not sink despite being a considerable distance from the shore. After bathing, there is a shower and bath service to get all the salt out of your body. Nice experience, accomplished, recommended for those who have not done it.
