Breathtaking, Wild, Unforgettable!!!! MUST DO!!! - That was an unbelievably wonderful experience of a lifetime! We had just 6 days in Zanzibar and 2 of them we decided to devote to safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro national parks. It was one of the wisest decisions because the amount of emotions and feelings you would get from the beauty of the nature and animals you have seen only on discovery channel before would bring you infinite happiness and pure joy :))) Thanks to Lapped Faced Safaris for making it real! The service was exceptional. Francisco ( the owner of the company) was always in contact with us all the time. He answered all our million questions and made sure everything would go smoothly. He took care about everything from the moment we left Zanzibar and came back. Our guide/driver was the best guide we could imagine: attentive, caring, choosing the best angles to observe the animals. Together with him we saw all Big Five (leopard, lions, elephants, zebras and rhinos) and more))) however it’s always a matter of luck whom you would spot ;) Karankari lodge - is a gorgeous hotel I would highly recommend to stay at for 1 night between the safaris. Phenomenal Safari Experience - Lappet Faced Safaris provided an excellent safari for the two of us. It was very well planned. Communication with Francisco was excellent. He was very accommodating in terms of arranging payment, which I was worried about due to Covid. The company is very reliable and excellent. The driver Gabriel was truly exceptional, he was always in the right place and time to see all the animals. We saw cheetahs, a black rhino, lions, a leopard, giraffes, hippos including baby hippos and many more. We also saw a family of around 70 elephants including baby elephants and we were the only car surrounded by all the elephants crossing the road! Gabriel also arranged an excellent plan to see sunrise and breakfast with a view in Serengeti Np Gabriel is an excellent driver, clearly very experienced, kind and easy going. Although we visited several parks which were far away, Gabriel is a very reliable and good driver who got us places quickly and safely. We previously did a safari in Kenya, however, the one in Tanzania with Lappet Faced Safaris was much better.

Wonderful Vacation in Tanzania - My husband, daughter, and I went on a 8 day safari to Tarangire NP Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater. We used Regional Tours and Safaris for the trip and they made the safari a wonderful experience for us. Francisco helped us create a wonderful itinerary by providing a lot of advice on the best time to visit the the parks and what to expect. He advised us to visit in July when the wildebeests would be crossing the Mara River to go into Kenya. He was also very helpful with the small details like the booking our accommodation, payment of park fees, transport and other logistics. Our guide Joseph was incredibly amazing, excellent at his job, highly experienced and skilled. He was great at locating the animals and he took as close as he could so that we could get great shots. He was very patient with us, especially when my daughter insisted on taking lots of pictures of the animals. Some of his passion even rubbed off on us when he taught us a bit of Swahili. He had a talented eye for birds. He showed us a lot of them and my daughter was happy with the pictures she took of the birds. The accommodations in the tented camps gave us a feel of Tanzania’s wildlife. We could see the animals roaming from our tents. It was amazing. I highly recommend Lappet Faced Safaris and Safaris for your African safari.

Outstanding Experience - I had the opportunity to use Lappet Faced Safaris for my recent safari to Tanzania. The booking experience with Francisco was excellent. He was patient with my questions and very diligent and clear in the booking process. Once I arrived into Tanzania i was greeted by my guide Michael. My feeling were that he was the absolute best. We literally saw every animal and way more than what I expected to see. I thought it was awesome when Michael my guide, who does this for a living was also taking pictures of some of the most amazing experiences imaginable.
