Beautiful island and great cabana - This was our favorite excursion while here! Getting a cabana was worth it, food and drink served to you all day long included in price, don't have to worry about leaving your stuff while you swim/snorkel/watersports. It was a hit with our teenage son! The current was so strong that snorkeling got canceled, but the waves crashing over side were amazing! There was a mix up with boats to take us back and it extended our day by over an hour waiting and people were getting upset because they risked nothing their cruise ship. Buy, the crew got us back to where we needed to go and were all so kind! Highly recommend this package!!!

Great Value and Great Time! - This was such an amazing value compared to what we would have paid directly through our cruise line. It's not super fancy and the ferry time was late going both ways which caused some stress but overall, I would definitely do this again. Free drinks (yummy too!) Free lunch (it was very good also!) Guided snorkeling (was wonderful and beautiful!) and relaxation above everyone at the beach. 5 stars from us! Thank you for a memorable day!

Amazing Day & Experience!!! - This experience was first class!!! Upon arrival Ainsley our Butler made sure we knew about all options available during our stay. Snorkeling, Paddle Boarding & Canoeing He also made our snorkeling reservation! Ainsley brought lunch to our Cabana & drinks! You’ll see long line waits for everything!!! We sat back & relaxed. We left a hefty tip!!! Ainsley was AMAZING!!! The cruise ship we were on was offering this exact experience for 3x’s the price. Helpful tips: Ask to be returned to the Elizabeth Dock next to your cruise ship instead of returning to the Jimmy Buffet boat port/Ferry Island, they stop there anyways. (You’ll need to be comfortable getting to Jimmy Buffet Restaurant/Boat Port in the morning. My kids loved this fast boat/loud music/energetic vibe and it added to the day!)

Great Time at Pearl Island - This is our second time doing this excursion. We love the private cabanas especially the big one on the end - the view cannot be beat. We are a family of four and had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The cabanas come with snacks and drinks in them plus they bring your drinks and lunch directly to you without having to wait in lines (these matters when you want as much time relaxing in the sun as possible). It was very helpful with the kids and not having to rush them over or pull them from whatever activity they were doing. The lunch was chicken and fish with veggies and rice. The food was good - the fish was excellent! Highly recommend getting the combo to try both. Our servers each time were impeccable. Always right there for drinks, lunch, towels, questions, and assistance. We will definitely do this excursion again as the island is so serene and it is not overcrowded even with the cruise ship visitors on it. A few things that I might add for information purposes. Don't miss out on going to the lighthouse. Seems simple but it is cute and view is so pretty from there. The island is not handicap friendly. The terrain just doesn't lend itself to be so without a lot of purposely reconstruction. It is a weather worn excursion spot, so don't expect it to be spotless like at a hotel cabana. It is clean but sandy. The recommendations I would make is to check the weather when you go as that can affect the ability to snorkel. There are two sides to the island, so depending on which tour you pick you may or may not have access to certain amenities (i.e. iguanas, underwater snorkel park). However, they are cheap enough to add on at $15 to go to the underwater park. One downside or maybe an upside (at least I thought so), is the internet is very spotty so sometimes you cannot access it. I didn't mind as my goal was to disconnect. But if you need internet, you can pay the $5 for the day but it may not work the whole time. I get it for parents with littles that might need that video or music to soothe them for nap. I would recommend downloading songs on your phone so you can access when on island or bring a small speaker. It is definitely a family friendly environment. We also did this excursion as a couple (without kids) and it was just as good. Not too many kids that you cannot relax peacefully. Overall, I gave it a 4 out of 5 as there are some small things that I think could be better (I.e. wet toliet paper in the restrooms, but I think that was more other visitors and the spray from the ocean than anything else) and the pathways a little wider.

Not worth the cost - It was not a bad experience, just not worth the cost. My expectations of a cabana is it has a roof (which it did) and 3 sides to block wind etc. Addtionally we were put on a second story. All this coupled with a 75 degree day, a 15 mph wind, 2nd floor, made for a very uncomfortable outing. Our server was very good and attentive. THe drinks were ok, but the food was cold, making eating the fish unappetizing. We ended up going down to the beach to keep warm. Paddle boards etc were there but not availalble all in use the entire time. Disappointing to say the leaset, but hope this helps the next person

Clean, friendly. We rate it good-average. - Ferry to the island with beautiful views. Ferry was clean & safe, crew friendly. Times for pickup and return were changed & not communicated well. However, once onboard for return, captain brought us to a closer port to not miss our return time to ship. Cabana was simple and clean. 2 lounger chairs, side table & trash can. It overlooked the beach and had a beautiful view of the ocean & island. Service to the cabana was good - plated lunch brought to us, and drinks replenished frequently. The lighthouse on the island was a neat extra feature with amazing views. Our best vacation photo was taken while atop the lighthouse.

Had higher expectations and felt misled. Experience did not meet what the website described. - The food was not good. 2 out of 3 of us didn't eat at all. The drinks included were sugar/syrupy so we purchased cocktails but options were limited and it took time waiting for the butler to come back for us to order additional beverages. The large banana was not what was shown on the website. We definitely felt misled. We were grateful to have an area for the day, but there was not enough time to enjoy anything else on the island. We walked to get conche as advised and when we arrived they were closing up cause he said he had kids he had to get back to. Totally understandable however we were disappointed and wasted our little bit of time there. To utilize any water sports you had to walk to the opposite side of the island and there just wasnt enough time to do that. The pig experience was odd. basically they bring you across the water to another beach by boat and then give you cups of chopped up apple and hot dogs with a stick. They then let the pigs out of the fenced in area and they run to the people to get fed. The beach was crowded and the pigs wont swim or go in the water unless the people do. there is no food or beverage available at this beach. My son went to use the portajohn and it was overflowing with urine and feces so he left but still got drips down onto his legs and feet so we had no choice but to rinse off in the ocean. It was not a terrible day however we would not feel a need to return. The value isnt there.
