Beautiful historic hospital - We visited here as part of the Barcelona Family Card. The active hospital and emergency room is immediately outside the Metro station, so we mistakenly went to the wrong entrance first. We were kindly directed around the block to the correct site. There is much to learn around the campus about the history of the hospital and architecture. We loved exploring the different buildings and tunnels. The written information was in 3-4 languages including English.

Wonderful 0 - Beautiful place a few steps from the Sagrada familia. It is a hospital built for the poor but of unimaginable wealth. This place is not considered in the lists of THINGS TO SEE, but it should!!!!

MODERNIST PREMISES THAT YOU CAN'T MISS - It is an enclosure with several modernist buildings by Lluis Domenec i Montaner, which was formerly a hospital. Some pavilions are restored, which are the ones that can be visited. It is very interesting and very beautiful. We did the visit with an audio guide and it was perfect, we learned everything. You need between one and two hours to see everything. You can not lose this.

Great experience - This is one of the architectural wonders of Barcelona and that means something in this city. It’s strange to realize that only some 15 years ago the activities ended because it feels like this place is a monument for a long time already. Maintenance is not fully up to standard and that is a shame. This is a true gem and deserves every euro. Buy your tickets online to avoid queue and GO and enjoy!

Nice architecture and interesting history - It was interesting to see the hospital this grand and old, but most of the buildings were closed to visitors, we could go into only three of them.

Must see - I went on a solo trip and arrived around 11:00. I would recommend to arrive early because a short time after there was a long line in front of the entrance. It was very interesting and you could read also everything in english! Must see when in BCN.
