Outstanding - Excellent tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and made sure we tasted everything! He went into depth explaining the cheeses, pastries and chocolates which was very helpful.

Otherwise great experience. Jonah was very personable and informative of the tastings and the local Basel sights and history. Also was very helpful in recommendations for our post excursion afternoon tram outing and evening dining options. We recommended this activity to our Viking Cruise directors!

A lovely tour through Basel - Jonas was a wonderful guide.
The tour went throughout the city. Brandli’s chocolates were among the best I have ever had. The cheese tasting at the market was a great experience. And the sweets at Lackerli Huus were very tasty.
I highly recommend this tours.

Great experience and tour - Jonas was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and personable and told us a lot of history about chocolate, cheese and gingerbread as well as the history about Basel. Really enjoyed our tour with him.

Chocolate and pastry tour - Jonas did a wonderful job taking us for our chocolate and pastry tour! He was so knowledgeable about let the town as well , we felt like we had a guided tour of the city while eating delicious chocolate and pastry’s all afternoon. He was very personable and really made our trip special - 10 star review !

Great Tour for Basel! - This was a great tour of Basel! Our guide, Ray, knew so many interesting facts about the city. We loved all of the tastings and learned why the Swiss make such delicious chocolate. The cheese portion was insightful as well. I would definitely recommend this tour for your trip to Basel.

Much less than the price - The walking and sight seeing of the old town was the nicest part if the tour. And there was the walking into 2 shops to get samples and the option to buy what they were selling. For the price we expected actual tasting and much more than 3 little sample stops.

Not as advertised - Really unimpressed. The tour guide was knowledgeable, but the “chocolate, cheese and pastries” did not happen. The “pastry” was a stale sample from some random shop, the only other stop was the tour guide’s own “chocolate and cheese” shop. AND I wasn’t prepared for a walking tour (thought there would be a bus for the price). Other than the experience of walking around Basel with a tour guide, I did not enjoy this nor do I think it was advertised correctly.
