Honokaa - WOH Ranch, a working livestock ranch and farm operation sharing exclusive views of enchanting Hamakua. This scenic opportunity allows travel through a traditional land division (Ahupua’a) that stretches from the mountain to the ocean and is home to native flora and fauna.
Surrounding gardens radiate fertility as you drive alongside fishponds full of Hamakua sunfish on your tour. Dwarf coconuts, sugar cane, taro, sweet potato and multiple varieties of bananas are just some of the plants you will see before riding alongside the historic Hamakua ditch. Served sugarcane’s century of success, now benefits farmers and wildlife. Pass by our spring-fed reservoir where cattle roam and horses take leisurely swims before driving mauka (toward the mountain) to sweeping grasslands and panoramic views. At the ocean, we kick back and relax for a short break to appreciate the stunning Hamakua coastline. On a clear day, view north face cliffs of Waipio’s, and even see Maui. Amazing view of real hawaii - The guide Ronson was fantastic! He made the entire experience fun, interesting, informative, personal and safe. We were a group of 4 from age 66 to 75 so were concerned about this off road excursion, but Ronson took great care of us. It turned out to be one of the best highlights of our wonderful Big Island vacation.

Great Tour & Fun - The tour was worth the cost, the ride was over 2- hours, with views of mountains and ocean ( the views were stunning) Driving the atv was fun, the guides were very knowledgeable and told funny stories.

Great ATV adventure with beautiful views - Scott was a great tour guide! We learned so much about the farm and seen beautiful views! We also got to try new fruits and we were very excited to eat the soursop! Service was above and beyond! Scott deserves a raise!

Lots of fun UTV adventure. - What a fun and entertaining tour! We enjoyed all of the scenery and learning about the different plants and fruits. Saw lots of different animals and learned some history of the island. Akaleo(sp) and Moses were our guides and always kept an eye on everyone riding. The UTV was fun. Prepare to get dusty though. Definitely recommend for something different to see the area.

Our Hawaii vacation - Great tour of a working farm. Got to see lots of animals and learn about the farm while enjoying the view. Tour takes you all the way up their mountain and down to the cliffs by the ocean. Yes you will get dusty so it definitely helped wearing long sleeves and long pants. If concerned about your hair definitely cover it. Guides were great and you can tell they enjoy what they do.

Great views and even better people! - Beat day of our trip! So much to see. The views were great but the guides made the experience even better. Ronson and Solana we're so informative and kind. They reminded us of why we enjoy vacationing in Hawaii. You'll feel more like family than tourists. Highly recommend you check this out. We will definitely be doing this again!
The only downside is finding the place. There is no physical address and the directions that are emailed to you were hard for us to follow. We ended up finding Waipi’o On Horseback on Google maps which gave us 48-5158 Honokaa-Waipio Rd, Honokaa, HI 96727. This will bring you right to the parking spot!

Great Time - The staff were great and very knowledgeable and the ride was very beautiful and fun. Even my grandson had a blast and caught a fish. Highly recommended this tour to everyone.
