Delightful Snorkel Adventure - Dillon our Captain was a delight. We felt safe and enjoyed all the history/commentary by Capt. Dillon about the island. Captain Cook location was teaming with fish. Perfect size trip. Just 6 passengers. Enjoyed chatting with our fellow snorkelers. An addition plus was the dolphin encounter! Mahalo!

Fabulous as always! - Captain Johnny is the best! Very knowledgeable and we always manage to see dolphins on our way to a great day of snorkeling.

Perfect way to spend a day in Kona - We had a great time on the morning snorkel — the crew were professional, nice, and helpful, and the snorkeling itself was amazing. A great intro to snorkeling if you haven’t done it before.

Excellent experience - We bundled a 4 hour morning snorkel with the manta ray snorkel. It was a great deal and we had the time of our lives on both trips. The morning snorkel stopped at three places that were not crowded with other people. Our captain Manu was very fun and knowledgeable, sharing stories and history of the island with us as we boated around. The manta ray snorkel was short but sweet, they really do swim right up to you. We had a few people in our group that were nervous but that quickly went away once the mantas arrived.

Beautiful snorkeling & exclusive insights with Monu - Our captain, Monu, was so awesome! He has first hand knowledge and so much in depth experience with the island that we were able to experience things that onone else did. He gave us history and insights of how the island was formed, and stories from the Hawaiins who originally lived here. This was more than just snorkeling, it was definitely the highlight of our trip!

Amazing morning snorkeling tour and nighttime manta swim - If you want an unbelievable experience while on the Big Island, definitely book both the morning snorkeling tour and evening manta ray swim with this company. Our tour guides went out of their way to make sure it was a great experience for my entire family. The Captain was very kind to my 7 year old daughter encouraging her to get in the water with the manta rays. She came in after us, and the guide in the water went to get her and take her to the surfboard. I cannot recommend this company enough! Mahalo!

Do there combo trip except make it the half day! - We took the night time manta ray trip on a Friday night & there 4 hour morning snorkel on Sunday morning. WOW!!!! Both were incredible! On the manta ray trip they come to within inches of your face. On the the snorkel trip they took us to see caves & 2 great snorkel spots! We were lucky enough to see 2 different kinds of dolphins, tons of beautiful fish, & a turtle! At the end of one of the snorkels we sat there eating our lunch with the spinner dolphins putting on a show all around us. The crew were very knowledgeable about everything from the history of the shoreline & historical sites to the sea creatures we were viewing. So much better being on a small boat than being packed in with a bunch of people!

Nice reef, but CRAZY boat ride was main attraction - The guides were nice and tour was on time and we saw a lot of cool sea life, but there were a few issues. One, the ocean was choppy so we didn’t get to go to the sea caves, which is out of their control, but we didn’t get any partial refund or another spot instead. Two, the boat ride was CRAZY- super fast, incredibly bumpy, and long. We had to hold on very tight to stay in the small boat. This should be disclosed ahead of time - it was fun for us but anyone old, weak, scared, or seasick would be miserable. Three, it would have been nice for the guides to give us some education on what we were going to see at the reef, or background on the area.

Don't book through Viator. They want sick people to go on excursions - I booked two excursions through Viator. One was on Friday and a second one the following morning on Saturday. Friday afternoon I started feeling nausea. I decided to do the Excursion despite feeling sick. I ended up vomiting throughout the Excursion and got a fever. I wanted to go on the Excursion the next day (Navy boat snorkeling) but was concerned because I felt so bad. I notified the Excursion that evening through a message and called Viator immediately. I left my phone number on the message. I received a call early the next morning from the Excursion asking how I was feeling and if I would be participating. I said I was still vomiting and still had a fever. We mutually agreed it probably would be best for me not to go. I made arrangements with my wife to take me to urgent care later that morning. Viator would not refund the Excursion because it was not a full 24 hours. They would prefer that I go on the trip and get everyone else sick. Do not book through Viator.

Bad communication. Cancelled last minute. - Got a text 20 minutes before saying there was mechanical issues. Then no response for two hours. They said they didn’t know when it would be fixed. Finally got a text at 11am (our tour was at 8am) and asked if we could go at 12:30. I told them no. I asked for a refund and got no response. I booked through viator so I called their customer support and got a refund within the hour.
