Highlights
  • El Tigre Catamaran Sailing Cruises - After hotel pickup, head to the marina in Bridgetown to board your catamaran, El Tigre, a 60-foot-long (18-meter) and 24-foot-wide (7-meter) schooner that’s big enough to carry 50 passengers but is limited to 36 per cruise to provide more space. The boat offers both shady and uncovered areas so you can choose to sit wherever you’ll be more comfortable.

Pull out of the marina and head along the west coast of Barbados, enjoying the sea breeze on your face and admiring the picturesque coastline. While you sail, just relax, sipping a cup of coffee or a glass of juice, rum punch or beer, and enjoy a slice of coconut bread.

Fun adventure - We loved seeing the sea turtles and fish on our snorkeling adventures! We also enjoyed jumping off the boat and swimming in the ocean. The crew was wonderful, entertaining and served a delicious lunch.

What a WOW experience!!!!! - We took the 5-hour option. Winston, Joshua, and the crew made up feel incredibly welcomed! I ran into a snag and Ryan stepped up and made it right. It was an unforgettable experience (and service!) all around! We had plenty of time in the water at two stops. Can't wait to do it again next year!!!!

Brilliant snorkelling trip seeing turtles and rays - Great snorkelling trip, really friendly crew and saw some great sights. We did the 3 hour tour, just wanted to do the snorkelling but there was also a 5 hour tour including lunch which some other did. Pick up and drop off from hotel was very straight forward. We picked this trip as it’s not too many, they don’t allow more than 36 on the boat and that was great as it was not too crowded. Drinks were free flowing and very helpful guiding people in the water and drawing everyone’s attention to where there were turtles and rays which were great to see. Highly recommended.

What has happened to Barbados - I have been coming to Barbados for 40 years . I was utterly in love with this island & the people . I was looking at living there, when I retired . Until this visit in May that is . I’m not quite sure what the hell has happened , the restaurants are rude to customer , the attitude of people , including the younger generation is shocking . I haven’t been in 2 years, due to one thing and another. It was as if I had come to another country ., A group of us went, we all said the same. They don’t make you feel welcome any longer . The elder Barbadians , are lovely ! It’s the next generation they are rude!!! Duty free in Bridge town are off the scale rude. They make you feel you are not wanted there. The attitude is shocking, and extremely uncomfortable . Well my affair with Barbados is over., I’ve no intention of living there in the next 5 years now . I’ve been coming to Barbados since I was 19 years old .They want to be careful, without tourism they won’t have jobs. Well it’s done we never go to Barbados again
