Additional Information

Discover the beauty of Romanian Christmas from traditions to tasting food and drinks that we cook especially for holidays. Your local guide will take you at the most important Christmas Markets in the city and at the same time you can hear stories about how we celebrate Christmas, interesting, but also weird traditions for this period of the year and also changes that apperead in communist Romania. Of course, you will not miss the decorations, since our capital is one of the most decorated city in Europe on this occasion.
At the fairs, the guide will explain which are the traditional souvenirs and also what we eat for our Christmas (such a long list that it will be difficult to remember).
One of the highlights of the tour is the story of Christmas during communist times, when Santa Claus was illegal and abusively replaced by another character.
