GREAT COMPANY - GREAT GUIDE - LOVE FOR LOCALS - Franko was an incredible guide and surpassed our expectations. His personality is exactly what we would want in a guide. We spent nearly 9 hours together and he not only gave us time to ourselves but was so knowledgeable and passionate about his country we talked for hours and he answered every question we had. He focused on things we were interested in and stopped along the way to ensure we got to learn unique things about the country and nature around us. He seemed to know everybody and had such a positive relationship with any person we ran into throughout the day. I don't think we could have asked for more. Franko even made sure my medical needs were met whether we needed to make extra stops or rest. He was simply wonderful. Our driver Mauricio was fantastic in his own way. I didn't think you could ask for more than just a safe and knowledgeable driver, but he took very special care of his vehicle even making sure it was cleaned before we got back into it after a tour. I mean 'wiping the dirt from the floors where we sat' clean. The tours were very special knowing that we were supporting local families and business, so this was just the icing on the cake. It was the perfect way to experience Costa Rica and we not knowing the areas, felt safe the entire time. We had a river boat tour where (as usual) Franko seemed very close to the captain. There was even another tour guide from a different company there and NO COMPARISON to our Franko with CA Tours. He had no passion for what he was doing and have very little to no information. Most of the other people on our boat (not with Franko started asking him questions. We knew we had the best. Our lunch at a local ranch was DELICIOUS. We are self-proclaimed foodies and truly loved the lunch we had. The pottery available at the ranch was lovely and while you could tell the young man teaching us about the process was trying to sell us, it was still a lovely experience and we wanted local crafts anyhow. The whole family was so sweet. Closing out our day, we completed the coffee tour. If you enjoy learning, this is definitely a tour for you. My husband loves coffee, I love learning new things so it was the perfect combination for us. Dennis led the tour but also serves the company as quality assurance, tasting the coffee. It was wonderful hearing everything he had to say about the process and really understanding how to taste coffee. I'm close to saying I like coffee but have a TRUE aappreciation for it now. We feel so lucky to have had such an incredible day and will book with CA Tours and ask for Mauricio and Franko next time we are in Costa Rica.

Crocs and Caffeine - Thanks to our boat driver and our guide Franko The Jungle River Cruise was so cool!! I nicknamed our boat driver Eagle Eyes. He would spot animals for us and then he and Franko would point them out so we could snap photos: crocodiles, howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, and long nosed bats! Great experience!! Dennis, the coffee taster at Diria coffee gave a fantastic tour!! My wife and I have such a better appreciation for coffee now. Theres so much that goes into bringing you your daily Cup of Joe that we never knew. Definitely recommend the coffee tour for any caffeine addict!

Great experience on the jungle cruise - We had a wonderful time on the jungle cruise. We saw more than 30 crocodiles, white face monkeys up close and a ton of birds. The kids even got to drive the boat. The coffee tour was also good to see the full process from fruit to cup of coffee.

Palo Verde & Coffee Tour - My wife and I had our first visit to Costa Rica in January. This tour gave us an opportunity to see a beautiful Park and tour a coffee plantation. The trip was outstanding. The Park tour include a river tour where we saw amazing flora and fuana. The tour also included an authentic lunch that was fabulous. After lunch it was off to the coffee tour. It was more than we expected. We found out the complexity of growing and processing coffee. Our coffee tour guide Dennis was excellent. All in all a great day. We also had an excellent driver and tour from TAM , Carlos and Roberto.

Great tour - We had TAM tour groups and our guide was Ciro, he was on the bus with us and gave us info all the way to the National Park, it was great. Also not sure who the boat driver was but he was great, he went a different way on the river than a lot of the other boats and we seen tons of wildlife, lots of different birds (they did tell us what they were) an ant eater, bunch of crocs. , bats, white face monkeys. Loved this tour, after that we went to eat lunch, then went on the coffee tour that also was very interesting. They didn't have coffee fields right now they are resting the ground. But was very cool to see the process. Also they sold coffee (very inexpensive $3) also some of their few souviours where also very inexpensive. Was a great day. Was long but good.

Tour guide Alexander was fantastic... -
Tour guide Alexander was fantastic, along with the driver. We had like our own private tour. Saw lots of wildlife, and went to an authentic Costa Rican place to eat that was very nice. Afterwards went to a coffee plantation that was also amazing and informative. We learned a lot and had a great time, highly recommend!
