Lake Stella is a spring-fed lake covering around 440 acres, featuring five distinct inlets and an island at its center. Circumnavigating all the inlets totals about five miles. The area includes a bird sanctuary, a public beach, some charming old houses, and remnants of the orange groves that once defined the region. The lake is teeming with bass, and you might even see an Osprey or Eagle catching a meal from the water’s surface. This spot is particularly great for novice kayakers.

Aside from the beauty of Lake Stella, getting away from the crowds of the mega parks in Orlando and Tampa is a real treat. It’s very pleasant paddling away from civilization enjoying nature, especially with a friend. There is plenty to do and see in the area. We have a nice cafe right on site if you are hungry afterwards. Take a break from the from the elbow bumping lines and enjoy a day on our spring fed lake 38 feet above sea level.
