- Cuenca Cathedral - The activity starts at Calle Fuero 1, Malaga, in front of the town hall, where you will collect your activity book. There are a series of clues to guide you around the old, historic part of Cuenca. You will follow directions, look for information on walls, signs etc and solve simple puzzles. You will learn about a famous legend of Cuenca and learn about the history of this city. There are several scenic viewpoints to see the famous hanging houses and the river.
The activity should take approximately 1.5-2 hours and involves walking approximately 3 kilometers (just under 2 miles). It will take longer if you stop to enter museums, churches etc, but none of these diversions are necessary to solve the puzzle.

This interactive pursuit requires ambulating around Cuenca, gathering hints, and cracking enigmas. It’s fitting for all age groups and the manual is in both English and Spanish. It’s an entertaining method to explore the city and it’s not overly challenging.
The activity is packaged in a book format. The narrative of ‘The Devil’s Cross’ is contained within the book and it also includes excerpts from ‘The Secret diary of Diego’. Coupled with navigation instructions and hints, this will guide you through the ancient portions of Cuenca. You’ll witness the Cathedral, medieval archways, suspended residences, a floating bridge above a gorge, a monastery and much more. You’ll decipher puzzles en route and thoroughly enjoy the experience. This is an open event and all you require is the book along with a pen and paper.
