Awesome learning experience!!! - When a great vantage point, an archeoastronomy knowledgeable and fun Presenter, great Meade telescopes, friendly support staff and a clear Cusco sky align, it all translates into a fun learning evening for all ages. Definitely a wonderful complement to a day visiting local Cusco attractions. I cant think of another place that offers a tour of the night skies that explains the way the Incas and the preceding cultures, in this case, used the stars to inform their agricultural cycles or determine location and orientation of buildings. Planetarium Cusco provides transportation from/to downtown Cusco (15 minute ride to Llaullipata) a fun introduction to the night skies in their dome theater, a slide presentation, and access to their telescopes outdoors (blankets included). A great two and half hour learning experience with Ana Maria Milla, highly recommended.

Great experience must try - Great experience and amazing team. You learn a lot about the stars and how the Inca used them to help with agriculture. Presentations and information given was great. We had a very cloudy night but the team did everything possible to call us out every time there was a clear view and we still got to see a lot of stars. Recommend it to everyone we met.

Learning and fun. Very cool!!! - Wonderful immersion in the world of astronomy and Inca history. The venue for the lectures is super cool and the staff is super lively and welcoming. We loved it!!!!

Beautiful experience - The experience is very nice; I recommend it! We were able to see Jupiter, the sky had the ideal characteristics to be able to see it. We were surprised by the explanation about the dark constellations.

What a pleasant surprise! - Wow, what an amazing surprise the Planetarium was!? The visit was part of an organised tour we were on, & to be honest, I didn’t know what to expect, but gee what a pleasant surprise! From start to finish the entire evening was fantastic, with the staff being extremely helpful, explaining all the stars outside, as well as handing us blankets as it got quite cold! The indoor section of the visit in the domed viewing room was exceptional, with the presenter giving us so much info in a fun & interesting way. Cannot recommend the Cusco Planetarium highly enough, & would tell anyone going to Cusco to put it on their list.

A nice and fun experience in Cusco - An excellent experience for adults and children! I loved seeing our moon and the moons of Jupiter up close. Thanks to a talented team that knows how to have fun teaching.

Visit to the Planetarium - The visit was very exciting and interesting, because of everything they explained to you. You really get to connect with the place and the kindness of each of the guides is phenomenal.

Fun evening activity in Cusco! - We had a lot of fun. Perfect if you are looking for something to do from/in Cusco that doesn't include hour long bus journeys. Short drive from the centre to the planetarium. It's small and not high tech, but still interesting. The guides were very enthusiastic and provided the information in English. We were also able to see 3 constellations though real telescopes, which was amazing! I would recommend it. Bring warm clothes, no joke !

Disappointing Experience - The experience was mediocre at best, and we would hesitate to recommend the planetarium to others. We were looking forward to the tour with the payment made and booking confirmation. Surprisingly, we received multiple calls and messages on WhatsApp an hour before the event, requesting us to confirm our booking again. Since we did not have internet access at that time, we were unable to respond until 15 minutes prior to the event. We were then informed that we could receive a refund as we had not confirmed our attendance earlier. Despite this confusion, we continued to the meeting point and were eventually allowed to join the tour. However, the situation created unnecessary stress and a poor start. The quality of the tour itself was underwhelming. While it was interesting to observe the constellations, the presentation felt superficial. The poor weather conditions also diminished the experience. We hope this helps so you don’t have the same problems.
