Kayaking.ie - After we meet you, we give you a wetsuit and all the equipment and we show you how to use it. You need to bring spare footwear to wear in the kayak eg old runners or water shoes.
You need to be able to swim to do this kayak tour. You don’t need to be a champion swimmer but you need to be happy floating in the water wearing a buoyancy aid in the event of a capsize.
Next, we get on the water in historic Bullock Harbour and go kayaking along the stunning Dalkey coastline, even to Dalkey Island when the weather allows.
You will be treated to stunning views of Dublin Bay which is a UNESCO biosphere.
Then we will encounter the friendly Dalkey seals. They will play around our kayaks as we paddle past them. We will also see the wonderful birdlife.
Scenic stops with lots of interesting information complete the tour whereupon we kayak back to Bullock Harbour

Great fun - An excellent trip - what else would we do in the pouring rain! It really was good fun - highly recommend it. Rob and Evan were very good guides / instructors too - keeping the group together and giving some history snippets along the way. Thank you.

Beautiful day on the bay - What a great day! If you want a fun adventure on the water experiencing nature and wildlife this is for you. Rob and Jenny were great guides and instructors: kind, patient, encouraging and full of knowledge about Dublin, the bay, wildlife, history, you name it, they had interesting information to share. Tour suites both experienced and beginner kayakers. I had never been in a kayak before and was nervous. Rob made it so easy. If I can do it you can too. Have been visiting Ireland for 20 years and this is the best tour I’ve ever done. Do something really special for yourself and book a tour with kayaking.ie. You deserve it!!

A brilliant afternoon - We chose to do an afternoon of kayaking for a work activity. It was such a brilliant afternoon. From start to finish, Jenny ensured everyone was OK and comfortable in the water. We explored the Dun Laoghaire coast, in and out of the water! We got to meet the lovely sea lions and learn about the area. It is such a fun way to spend time, I would highly recommend this and I can't wait to do it again.

Day to remember - This was one of the best experiences and well worth it. Rob was excellent as our guide so friendly and knowledgeable, such a nice lad and a credit to the team.
Went as a first date and will definitely be a memorable one, 100% recommend and would book again.

Super kayaking tour in Dublin bay - Had a really fantastic time on this tour. It was fun, safe and enjoyable and we saw lots of seals. Rob was a great instructor. He explained everything really well and told us lots of history about the Dublin Bay area. Would really recommend this kayaking tour.

Magical Experience - Matthew is an excellent guide. He is clearly a fantastic kayak instructor but also knows the coastline well. He talked us through some of the sights and was really personable. Thank you Matthew. We had an amazing experience.... came across our first seal in the first 5 minutes! The sun was shining and the sea was calm.... what a beautiful day. The tide was getting lower when we went out and it was fantastic to see the seals lounging on the rocks, with a few of the younger ones bobbing up out of the sea near the kayaks. Just magical.

Once in a lifetime experience - The guide was very knowledgeable and cared about our safety! She took great care to make sure we were able to kayak before taking us out. The views were beautiful and the seals were the absolute best part. Seeing the seals up close is a once in a lifetime experience!

Kayaking with Seals & Quick History Lesson! - Our Kayaking tour guide was awesome, he was so kind and all the rules were straightforward! He did an awesome job at guiding us and kept up with our pace- even when we slowed down. It was such an amazing experiencing seeing seals so close to us in their natural habitat, knowing they’re safe and protected but being able to be close to them was awesome. I really loved kayaking, there was so much history and passion being told from our kayaking guide- it made our vacation so much more fun & genuine. I hope to come back to Ireland soon!
