- Hierapolis Archaeology Museum - This substantial edifice was originally a Roman bathhouse and gymnasium from the 2nd century, constructed using the region’s golden-brown travertine blocks, which were once adorned with colorful marble. A significant barrel vault collapsed during an earthquake in the 4th century and was subsequently rebuilt using brick.
