As the only traditional souq left in the Gulf, it has now transformed into a delightful maze of narrow lanes where tourists can haggle and buy a broad array of goods.
A trip to one of the falcon shops offers a distinctive experience; some store owners let you photograph and touch the birds while giving you a run-through of the equipment and training process.
Cultural dance and music performances are a common sight, especially during celebrations, providing ample chances for authentic photography. Round off a day or an evening at the Souk with a delightful meal at a local eatery.
