I highly recommend this experience to anyone who is looking to learn about the history of Altbier in Düsseldorf. It was a great way to try a variety of different Altbier to find a favorite. Great Brewery Tour in Dusseldorf - Tour guide was very informative and funny. He was able to converse fluently in English and went over and above. He gave recommendations for food which we really appreciated also.

Bit of an issue with the... - Bit of an issue with the numbers and got asked to move to a later slot, which was ok for us. Was quite a big group and the guide had to say everything twice in German and in English! We had fun though

Didn't pay much attention myself... Carnival weekend - Despite Carnival, we had a very nice tour with an enthusiastic guide. We couldn't get in everywhere but he solved it very well

Not worth the money. - This was an okay tour. Apparently all the brewhouses are closed on Monday, which they fail to tell you until you meet for the tour. If you attend on another day outside of Monday, I think you would get a much better experience. I feel compared to others I was more cheated in getting a lesser experience for the same price. If I had known, I wouldn't have booked it at all.

Tour was fun, but it is not recommended if someone does not drink beer, because you have to pay for it - The tour itself was very nice and the tour guide explained everything well. He was very friendly and took us well. It's just a shame that the organization is making things difficult about certain drinks. We had booked for 28 people and there were 24 of us. Eventually someone wanted wine instead of beer and the boss made it very difficult to do so. While we pay for all people and they pay at the bars for the people who have been there. Really ridiculous.
