A must-do to really appreciate the city - Vlaho was a fantastic tour guide. We visited parts of the city that we never would have found just wandering around on our own. He was always able to find places away from the crowds to explain the history and significant areas. Private tours are the way to go.

The Single Best Tour on Out 2 Week Trip - Our tour of Dubrovnik’s Old City was the single best private tour we have had over our two week holiday. Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. He shared the city’s rich history from ancient to modern times. Paolo an excellent historian - Paolo is an EXCELLENT historian and is sooo well versed about Dubrovnik and its history! Kudos to this former teacher who kept our tour so animating and did not miss a step in covering everything. He is such a gem to talk to and we wished the tour was even longer than the 3 hours we were immersed with history.

Incredible - The tour was very informative and very memorable, and this is coming from a person who normally doesn’t like doing tours that much. I was a little skeptical about enjoying a private tour, but my guide was amazing! He knew every single detail about the place, and it made me appreciate the Grad that much more!

Guide loves to hear himself speak - He knows his history. The problem is that he routinely talks over people who have questions. My kids felt like he was condescending (he was). Constantly talks about how this is just a retirement gig, and honestly, we were happy when it was over.
