The Hammam is a significant element of Moroccan heritage and tradition. It’s highly recommended to experience it at least once when visiting Morocco. Post-Hammam, you’re likely to find your skin is incredibly smooth, clean, and rejuvenated - akin to that of a newborn.
- Fez Cooking Class at Dar Yassine - As a person who used to take hammam at least once a week .. I can show you the etiquette of hammam, steps and materials we use.
For you if you never been to Hammam before you will need a local to understand the culture and the rules of the Hammam:
- what to dress
- what you will need there
- what you should do…
We will start making savon beldi (a black soap made with olive) than scrubbing the body using special glove. After this, we wash the hair using Morrocan comb. It takes in general about 1 hour for the hammam.
You gonna live a completely different experience. One of the biggest differences is the dead skin is removed and you will have much better and cleaner skin than before
It’s going to be well spent money 100%
PS: The Men’s & Women’s Hammam are separated BUT still in the same building.
