  • Galway - The tour offers pickup from your accommodation if within 3 km radius of Galway city.
    Otherwise CLADDAGH HALL on NIMMO’S PIER is our meeting point.
    Then sit back and enjoy the short journey to our starting point at Barna Golf Club.

  • Bearna Golf and Country Club - We will start with a familiarisation of your RadRhino electric bike.

  • Barna - From the country roads of Barna we can enjoy fabulous views overlooking Galway Bay across to The Burren in Co. Clare. Depending on weather conditions we can also see The Aran Islands in the Atlantic Ocean.

  • Furbo - The country lanes surrounding Furbo provide us with an opportunity for a short break. Enjoy the nature and see turf in its various stages being prepared for winter fuel in the bog lands.

  • Spiddal - The Irish speaking seaside village of Spiddal is our destination. At the pretty Craft Village we take time to relax and can explore the local craft shops and café. Enjoy a stroll by the ocean or perhaps be brave enough to take a swim !

  • Furbo - Our return from Spiddal takes us along similar quiet country lanes. At Furbo we take a detour which leads to a very quaint old bog road. This journey back in time is a highlight for most guests as we enjoy the peace and tranquility along this single lane track across the bog.

  • Galway - Sit back in comfort as you are returned to your guest accommodation or to the meeting point in Galway City.

A fun ride in Connemara - Martin did everything to make this a great trip. He gave us instruction at the beginning, helped us with all the equipment and lets us on a very interesting tour. We had a very interesting 20 km loop and Martin made sure everyone had an enjoyable and safe trip.

eBikes tour in Connemara - Fat Bike Galway - We loved the ride! - We had a great tour with Martin (Fat Bike Galway) around a beautiful lake and Irish Country side in Connemara as part of the Vagabond Wild Irish Rover Tour. Martin had awesome RAD Fat Tire Bikes with all the safety gear that was new and clean. We had experienced and un-experienced riders. Martin could accomodate all. He sprinkled in interesting stories with 2 - 3 stops along the ride. We loved the ride and would do it again!

Great experience! - My first time on an E-bike and I loved the experience! Our guide was wonderful. He did frequent check-ins to make sure we were all ok, safe and enjoying the ride. He was knowledgeable on the area and fun! The tour was filled with beautiful vistas. This was probably the highlight of my vacation in Ireland.

Phenomenal tour of the Connemara Countryside! - We had such a fun afternoon riding around the countryside with Martin! The views were incredible, and it was a great way to get out, get some exercise, and have a blast. Martin was highly knowledgeable and provided some interesting stops for us along the way. The E-Bikes were fun to ride and looked practically brand new. Additionally, Martin was highly concerned with safety and ensured everyone was comfortable with the bikes and we were aware of what to expect by way of hills and turns. You could tell they take safety very seriously.

An amazing and fun tour! - Our family did this tour in early April on our visit to Galway and loved it. Martin was fantastic at making sure that every need was accounted for from transportation to safety to the quality of the bicycles. The tour itself was beautiful and Martin was wonderful providing information about the local area. Martin himself was incredibly friendly and a joy to chat with. I highly recommend this tour.

BOOK THIS TOUR!!! - BOOK THIS TOUR !!! Our family of 4 was lucky enough to have the opportunity to hang out with Martin who guided us through an unforgettably stunning tour of Connemara on a 1/2 day e-bike tour. Pre-trip communication was top-notch; from initial communication, to helpful tips for a comfortable ride, weather checks and finally pick-up and drop-off locations, no detail was left unmentioned. Martin was great! Prompt, thoughtful, humorous, informative and accommodating. Our ride was safe and leisurely, perfect for all level of riders. We loved the tranquility of the ride and the region, especially stopping to pet some horses and gazing out at the sea while sipping on the hot cocoa and coffees we purchased from the lovely little town where we took a break. The e-bikes were a joy to ride, allowing each biker to customize their level of effort and the fat-tires added an extra level of stability and suspension that other e-bikes lack. Martin was even kind enough to take a lovely panoramic video of our family mid-ride... a great added touch! Such wonderful memories for our family and one of the highest-valued experiences we've had the pleasure of undertaking. I simply cannot recommend this tour more highly. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Martin!

Amazing Guide, Instruction, Bikes and Experience - As a member of a group of 9 travelers who had just met, this company made a truly fun and entertaining experience for all in the group. Only about half of the group had any experience on an e-bike, but by the time we finished the almost 2 hour bike in the Connemara area, we were all energized and bonded by such a good time , not to mention pretty proficient riding the 5 speed assist bikes. We all love the fat tire experience! Our guide was funny, an excellent instructor. He was attentive to everyone’s needs and safety. I’d highly recommend this company!

Beautiful biking through the bogs to the beach - Martin was awesome! From getting us started, safety first, Then the route through the bogs in the mist to a beautiful clear day alongside the ocean. Lunch at the delicious cafe. Great conversation, amazing suggestions for our following day. It was one of my favorite parts of my trip!

Get out and Ride! With Galway Fat Bike - Take a fat tire bike add electricity, the Irish countryside, family then shake it up with Martin and you’ve got yourself a great time! We planned for a full day in Connemara but the weather turned for the worse. Martin quickly worked with us to deliver a great riding experience to get a “Taste of it” - and the trip was FANTASTIC! And it’s not just the ride - from planning to pick up to travel to conversation to evening recommendations - Martin is on top of it all…. And safety is a clear priority (helmets, vests, instruction, and road navigation). We would do it all again!! Highly recommended. Family of 4.

Personalized fantastic bike tour of Connemara - What a great experience ! Martin pickled us up right at our accommodation in Salthill. The bikes are of very high quality and easy to ride. Martin is a great guide as he adapts his tour to our fitness level and also to special wishes (more biking, more sightseeing….). He knows Connemara and its history like his own pocket and you can feel that he loves sharing his knowledge and love to the country with you! We had a great coffee break with him where he gave us plenty other recommendations for other places to visit. Martin is very personable and friendly and we had a great time with him. An experience which I highly recommend to everyone who will visit Ireland and especially Connemara in a bit different way. Thanks a lot Martin!
