A wonderful experience with Valentina! - Valentina was AMAZING! We were able to taste some delicious, local foods and learn about Genoa. The pesto will change your life! We would highly recommend this to all!

Our Favorite Tour! - This was such a great tour! We had a small group of 5 people which made for the perfect experience. Communication was great and they had easy directions for the meeting point. All of the food was FANTASTIC (we selected the gourmet option) and were places we wouldn’t have found on our own! Our tour guide Marina was everything we could’ve hoped for and I wish she could come along with us the rest of the trip!

A must tour for Genoa - We had an absolutely fun and delicious evening. Marina was fantastic; fun, knowledgeable, kind, and delightful. She informed us of the history of Genoa which was very interesting. She was excited to inform us. This was all done while meandering through the streets of Genoa. We started with appetizers in large cone consisting of fried seafood and vegetables. We ate while she informed about history. Then onto the best focaccia ever! We learned how to tell if focaccia is made well and Italian Genoa way. Next to 3 delicious pasta dishes each with different pasta and sauces. Explanation of each type; so delicious. We had the alcohol ticket; must do. Delicious wine from the Genoa region. Next was Italian pizza with a particular crust and cheese. I must say it was the best I have ever eaten and have eaten some very fine pizza. I had wine and my husband had beer both paired well. We could not eat all the food. The tour ended with the best gelato in Genoa. Yummy. Marina gave us a list of things to do next day of trip including restaurants, museums, etc. this was our first food tour ever. We were impressed that it also included a history tour as well. This tour is a must for anyone visiting Genoa.

Great food and a great cultural experience! Plan to eat! You will get your money’s worth! - Great food and culture tour through the streets of Genova. Learned so much about the history of the city and its food, and the food we ate was wonderful. Come with an appetite! Our tour guide, Marina, was a joy to be with. She does an outstanding job explaining the history and culture of Genova. If you can get her to guide you, you are in good hands.

We can recommend this tour full-heartedly! - We had a good time on this tour. Marina was a fantastic guide and provided us with a lot of useful insights into the city, its tradition and its food. Starting in the touristic harbour, the tour led us through the old town to some very nice places--some of which we even revisited the following days. And as a plus, Marina recommended a long list of places to see, to eat, or to have a drink after the tour. We can recommend this tour full-heartedly!

Plenty of fun and Great Food - Marina was a fabulous host/guide who was very knowledgeable and foods. We had the best cone of fried foods and focaccia at the market, then went to a couple sit down restaurants where we tried 3 different delicious pasta dishes, then focaccias with different toppings in an old cistern restaurant. Then gelato and a chocolate shop. She was very helpful with the history of Genoa also.

Perfectly Genovese! - Our tour host, Marina, was amazing. The Street food stops were all authentic Genovese and delicious. Marina, herself, was the highlight of the tour because she made the city’s history relatable. I highly recommend this tour.
