An afternoon of eating! - Make sure you come hungry! Our tour was fantastic. KK was our guide for the afternoon and he took us to Some amazing places. They feed you a lot on their tour. I have done food tours that are more of a sampling, the dishes on their tour are an entire dish to yourself. KK was fantastic and I highly recommend this tour

5/5 STARS PHENOMENAL - Mr. Ron Than was phenomenal and I would sign up for a food tour with him anywhere anytime: he gave history, anecdotes, and local lore, and most importantly, took us to amazing food—the high tea and the Chew Jetty food were highlights of the tour. Give him and his company a try, you will not regret it; thank you so much for a delightful tour, Mr. Ron! 5+++++/5 stars

Excellent insight into local food scene - A grey way to see behind the scenes of Penang's street food and small eateries that you'd normally not dare try. Wei Shen Ooi was an excellent host, knowledgeable not only about the food but cultural history - especially of the Malay/Chinese community. We lost count of the food stops - all we're delicious! Also, interesting selection of local drinks too - which again we'd have missed without this trip

Excellent food tour - We had a wonderful time exploring George town’s food scene with Wei Shen on a private evening tour. We tasted new things and he also talked about history and street art on the way. We finished the evening with a lovely cocktail. Thanks Wei Shen!

A very pleasant evening in Penang - We had a private tour for 2 with Wen. Despite water shutdown (our luck!) resulting in closing of some of the stalls, he was able to adjust the tour and kept us entertained with food, pleasant company (his) and sightseeing! We tried Indian, Chinese and Malay food, capping it all with a nice local beer!

This is a Walking Tour of Georgetown not a Food Tour - We were excited to experience the four hour "Eat Drink Georgetown" Food Tour in Penang, as the city is renown for the wonderful culinary experiences offered around every corner. Gary, our guide, was very pleasant and well informed and kept us entertained as we wandered the streets of Georgetown. But this tour, at its core, is a walking tour and not a food tour. We have taken Food Tours throughout the world and usually the breath, quantity, and quality of the food has been very satisfying. Not to focus on the tour price, but for RM300 per person in Penang, you can have a feast. While the price of the included food should not be the sole barometer by which a Tour is judged, the food could not have cost more than RM30 per person to the Tour operator. Food Tours are meant to introduce the participant to the diversity of food choices in a city, and quantity should not be the ultimate measure, but the participant should not finish the Tour exhausted and hungry.
