- George Town - Tour starts from this point (bus stop in front of 7-eleven Penang Road) where participants will come on their own - walking, by taxi or by Grab. Briefing will be done first at this location before tour starts.
- Little Penang Street Market - We enter into a couple of coffeeshops along this road to partake in the hawker foods.
- Hainan Temple - Gain insight into Taoism, one of the least known old tradition practice of the Chinese. Listen to the ritual, why there are so many different deities and seek your fortune in the majestic and colorful temple.
- George Town - See heritage buildings architecture, murals and fengshui influence along Muntri Street. Learn about trivia and fascinating stories along the way.
- Chulia Street - We will literally eat famous and delicious hawkers foods cooked in front of you by hawker stalls along this street.
- Little Penang Street Market - View pre-war Heritage buildings and interesting trivia along Campbell Street and have some snacks along the way.
- Kimberley Street Food Night Market - We will have delicious street foods along this road.

A guided tour on Penang traditional street foods. Foods and drinks (except alcoholic) are included:
- 3 hours walk, eat street foods/drinks in local cafes while take in the sight of traditions and cultures as we walk the street. Best eat nothing at all before tour.
- Taste some 10-13 traditional Penang famous street foods and drinks. You will be full at the end of this tour.
- Learn the ingredients and preparation of Penang dishes like Lor Bak, Wantan Mee, Roti Canai, Assam Laksa, Char Koay Teow, Hokkien Mee, Curry Mee; drinks like nutmeg juice, ambra, barley, white coffee and desserts like Chendol, ABC or rojak.
- Visit a Chinese temple to gain insight to Taoism and have your fortune told.
- Savor local tropical fruits like water apple, jackfruit or langsat, if available.
- Savor local snacks like Malay cakes or Indian apom (crepe).

Excellent food tour and guide - This was a fantastic food tour and James made the whole experience fun and informative. There was so much amazing food along the route that it was hard to pace myself. James was happy to adapt the course to cater to our wishes which made it feel far more personal than other food tours I have been on. He even gave me an additional street art tour at the end which was most gratefully received.

Best food tour! - James was great! Excellent food and drinks- the highlight being his personalised curry! He was really friendly and shared loads of stories about Penang! A good range of food to try and catered to our tastes. Highly highly recommend!

Great food tour experience - Great tour very informative guide about the food and the local culture of George Town learning about the history of the English colony pre Independence.

Good mix between food, culture and history - For us it was mixed food tour and mixed history & culture, which was actually great. We also visited Mazu temple and learned a bit about how it works. James was great, although he can be a bit pushy if you do not eat enough haha! Highly recommended.

Food trip - The food tour is definitely recommended. We were six people and our guide James made sure we got lots of exciting local food and drink. We would never have come up with these dishes ourselves. James told a lot about the food and the culture. Thank you for a good trip.

Wonderful food tour- overview of Penang’s food wonders - Marvelous tour with James today. LOTS of food. Perfectly curated with plenty of cultural tidbits. James tailored the tour for us (I’m gluten free/light) and was able to eat almost all the food.
The best part is tasting foods you maybe wouldn’t know to order or perhaps wouldn’t dare.

Amazing Tour! - James was a great guide who was very passionate about the food and history of Penang! We tried a variety of local dishes, my favourite being the char kuey teow. It was really intrestrsting going to the Chinese temple as James explained the history, the gods and facts about the temple.
