Tikal Go took great care of us - Christian was a very good guide when my wife and I toured Tikal. It is an amazing place to learn about the Mayan culture and Christian's knowledge about the site, the history as well as the plants and animals made it a never to forget experience. The lunch experience on-site was a bonus.

Tikal Go Day Trip was Excellent! - Tikal Go : Alex and his crew Louis and Omar, were awesome! Private tour to Tikal was just what we were looking for. Picked us up right from our property. Local guides that took pride in their country and full of information. Our Belize driver, Louis, was cheerful and informative. He helped navigate the border crossing processes with ease! Omar, our tour guide on the Guatemala side was standing ready to meet us. He began sharing about his country as soon as we were seated in the van. He answered every question we handed him. We spoke of everything from culture(old & new), flora, and fauna! Tikal ruins were amazing. We ended the tour with a wonderful lunch! Wear comfortable shoes and be ready to get your steps in. I highly recommend Tikal Go and visit Tikal.

Great Experience - Had a great trip to Tikal! We drove ourselves from San Ignacio and parked at the border ($3 for all day). Easier process than expected to get across, although you do have to pay a departure fee(can use CC). Picked up on the other side and driven about 2 hours to Tikal with a quick stop 1/2 way there to grab souvenirs and coffee. Our guide, Royal, met us at the entrance and took our small group(6 total) through and showed us some unique flora and fauna right off the bat. Then he did a great job of showing us the pyramids and other buildings, while giving us the extensive history and allowed us ample time to take pics. He took us on some off beaten paths to show us things that not sure everyone got to see. Did our obligatory Star Wars shot from the pyramid and then had a great lunch in the jungle. Finished it off by my 11year old son forcing me to eat some termites of the tree with him and Royal. Not bad! Great overall experience and we got another stamp on our passports 😀

Tikal your- Tikal Go. - Genny. He was the most amazing guide. The experience we had with was amazing. He's a walking encyclopedia. His knowledge of the history, flora, fauna, birds, animals, etc...... the list can go on. The company was safe, professional, and punctual. This was truly one of the best tours I have ever been on.

Excellent tour - We were thrilled with our guide Genny who made this amazing experience even more memorable. In addition to knowing a lot about the site history he was a fantastic birder who went out of his way to make sure we saw some great birds. The entire tour went very smoothly and we had a ton of fun.

Daytrip to Tikal - My husband, toddler and I had a fantastic day with guide Eduardo and our driver who's name I cannot remember unfortunately. We learned a lot, about Tikal and Guatemala; and everything went so smoothly. Eduardo was so welcoming of our toddler and encouraged us to take our time and not rush. I wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Tour from San Ignacio to Mayan cities of Yaxha and Tikal - Tikal Go provided a great service on our first visit to Guatemala. Luis/David were great drivers and Noel a superb guide. After crossing the border (USD20pp exit fees from Belize not included in the tour), the first stop was for lunch, where the restaurant was able to cater for people with food allergies (coeliac disease). Then on to Yaxha, a less-well known Mayan city which has been partially relcaimed from the forest. After sunset sitting on top of a temple, they drove us safely nearly two hours to Jungle Lodge (cows and dogs on the road) at Tikal for an early night (stopped off at a convenience store along the way for a snack dinner). Up at 3.30am for a 4am departure (ask the guide to organise the breakfast in a bag to take with you) to see sunrise atop Temple IV in Tikal (horizon clouds delayed seeing the sun until 30 minutes after dawn). Noel offered plenty of insights into Mayan history, Spanish colonisation, and more recent events such as the Guatemalan civil war in fluent English. Temple III was probably the favourite as it gave a great opportunity to see many birds (including toucans and vultures) at canopy level. After lunch, they drove safely back to San Ignacio (no exit/entrance fee at the border). Overall, I would highly recommend Tikal Go as a tour company to use for visiting Guatemala (self-touring by taking a rental car across the border would not have been easy) and would happily use them again.

Day trip to Takal - Our tour with Noel far exceeded our expectations! We were picked up from our hotel by Luis, who made our border crossing into Guatemala a breeze! Noel picked us up at the border for the two hour ride to Takal. The countryside and villages of Guatemala are gorgeous! Once we arrived at Takal, Noel oriented us to the park - including in-depth history and importance of the site. Noel shared his knowledge of local wildlife as well - spotting howler and spider monkeys! We climbed four towers total and the views were spectacular! We wrapped our visit to Takal up with a meal at the on-site restaurant that included food and had drinks for purchase. This tour with Noel was such a worthwhile investment - we highly recommend it!

Awesome tour to Tikal with children made easy with Tikal Go - We had a private tour from San ignacio to Tikal and had a awesome experience! We had three adults and two children ages 3 & 5. Our tour Guide Marco Castellanos was amazing and was really accommodating especially traveling with two small children. Border crossing was easy. Wonderful informative tour through the park. We loved stopping at the co-op and my five year old even made tortillas at the stand next store which was another highlight. Highly recommend this tour!
