Highlights

This tour is organised and run by locals who have lived in the Blue Mountains all their life taking you to only the best places that can be fit in in a full day tour. This full day Blue Mountains tour is exactly that, we do not attend non relevant zoos, boats etc. Scenic World has also been removed from our itinerary as it wasn’t well received by our customer base.

This adventure commences early from Sydney with a meet and greet at the pickup point. You then have a bit over an hour to acquaint yourself with the group on the bus ride heading to the outskirts of Sydney.

Once you hit the start of the Blue Mountains there is a quick stop at a local shopping village where you can have a quick toilet/food/drinks stop before heading all the way up to the amazing Three Sisters rock formations. After taking photos of the Three sisters and jaw dropping Jamison Valley we then take you on a bushwalk right up to the three sisters and even onto one of the rock formations.

We then progress further into the mountains to Wentworth Falls where your guide will take the group for a 90 min hike through the bush where you will see local fauna, bird life and see several waterfalls on your hike to the base of the immense Wentworth falls and even have a quick refreshing dip.

All that sightseeing makes people hungry so the group will relocate to a nearby area where we cook an authentic Aussie BBQ with veggies and kangaroo on the side (vegetarian/vegan options).

After lunch we continue the day of fun and head to a local and secluded waterhole where people can go swimming or lay around on the sand in the sun deep within the bush of the Blue Mountains. Then, you head off into the nearby National Park down a long dirt road to say hello to skippy the Kangaroo. This tour has had hundreds of 5 star reviews. We are a small and passionate option!

By now the day is getting on and we head back into Sydney with an approximate arrival time of 6:00pm. We often conclude our day together at the Central Sydney bar.

One of Sydney’s top-rated experiences is available through our relaxed Blue Mountain tours. We conduct these tours with a casual, fun-focused approach, aiming to create the feeling of a group of friends on a day trip, rather than a formal tour.

We have been operating this adventure for quite a while, providing assurance that we will take you to the best, less-frequented destinations in the Blue Mountains. These include waterfalls, impressive lookouts, a stop at a local Glenbrook cafe, the Three Sisters at Katoomba, and other locations where you might spot a kangaroo, numerous bird species, and more. We also steer clear of mainstream bus locations and crowded tourist spots, aiming for a thorough, undisturbed Blue Mountains experience. Australian snacks like Tim Tams & Vegemite are part of the package!

  • In regards to reviews, a vast majority are actually over on TripAdvisor opposed to the very small amount here
  • Update March 2024We have noticed an increase of dingoes (wild dogs) in the area scaring off the kangaroos. We also hope that this will return to normal asap. This has affected all tours mentioning wild kangaroos. Apologies
  • We highly recommend travel insurance in Australia as our emergency fees are quite high for non citizens

Great experience, despite the rain and fog - We were unlucky with the weather because rain and fog. But we got to see quite a bit, even if there were some places we were going to visit and then didn't get to see anything because fog. But a great experience anyway. And good and pleasant driver; Kiearan, with entertainment on the way.

Perfect tour if you wanna see the Blue Mountains :) - The tour was really nice and fun! We were picked up on time at the agreed meeting point in a cute bus. Our guide Tom is very funny and told us a lot about Australia. On the two-hour drive we played a quiz with him. He gave us typical Australian words and phrases and we had to guess what they meant. The prize was Tim Tams. The viewpoints were all great and beautiful. We saw a lot of the Blue Mountains. Whenever we stopped somewhere, we had a bit of free time. The time was always well timed. Not too short and not too long. We had a small sandwich for lunch. It was nothing special but enough. On the way to the Blue Mountains we also made a short stopover in a small town to get some breakfast and snacks. On the way back home we went looking for wild kangaroos and actually saw some. That was really great. I can really recommend the tour.

Fun and active day trip with breathtaking scenery - Our guide Tom was cool and helpful with an excellent taste in music and a good sense of humour. We were wowed by the stunning scenery at Lincoln’s Rock and Tom was acquainted with the good photo op spots. The walk to the Wentworth Falls could be a bit challenging, but the view was worth it. The Three Sisters were magnificent. Our lunch was joined by some lovely companions - the Sulphur-crested Cockatoos. The Aussie slang team game was fun and a good way to know our fellow travellers.

A must join tour - We have an enjoyable day doing this tour. Our tour guide Kieran was not only professional and well versed in his job. He also made the group mates correspond to each others and it was a great gesture. Lunch was provided, a delicious wrap. Small group about 22-24 paxs . Thank you Kieran for the well informative trip😊

Awesome tour! - This is an awesome tour- very comfortable, there are options for experienced hikers, and for less physically able bodied people to really experience the mountains. Our tour guide was funny, too. Would definitely recommend!

Another Australian Ripper - We did the Blue Mountains adventure that included a hike to Wentworth Falls and several lookout points and small towns. We had an absolutely brilliant guide who told us about the history as we went along. The sights were magnificent, the trip was clearly well thought through, and we had a lovely group as company. Highly recommend!

Lovely time - Beautiful locations and the guide was friendly and accommodating. He also seemed quite knowledgeable. I would recommend this as more of a summer activity but was still thoroughly enjoyable.
