As Lokafyers aren’t full-time guides and only lead tours on occasion, they offer an authentic and personal experience, akin to a buddy showing you their city. By tour’s end, you’ll feel at ease navigating the city and confident in having all you need to maximize your visit.
- Lokafy tours provide a general overview of the city with practical information from a local’s perspective, not detailed historical facts
- In case travellers would like to include a visit to an attraction, they would need to cover the cost of entrance for themselves and also the Lokafyer (local guide)
- Tours are entirely personalized, please provide the start time, meeting place and information about you so that we can organize the tour
- This is a walking tour. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately

Interesting tour through Helsinki - Interesting tour to get to know Helsinki. Entertaining walk to the most important highlights of the city with lots of tips and recommendations from an insider. Highly recommended!!!

A Fantastic and Creative Private Tour! - My private tour was wonderful and exactly the type of tour I was seeking. Isabella was a knowledgable and friendly guide who took to a range of places in Helsinki including some well-known places such as the Old Market Hall and Oodi and some off the beaten path. Being May 1st, it was a lively, festive day to go walking and one place Isabella took me to was the Kaivopuisto park where all the locals were gathering to celebrate. This was a lovely experience and I'm so glad I decided to go on this tour!

Angela is amazing! - Angela was absolutely amazing. I learned so much about Helsinki, and Angela personalized the tour to my interests. I had a great time. I have recommended this experience to others already.
Considering the context of the tour, my expectations were not that the guide would have extensive knowledge of history and culture, but she absolutely did. I could not recommend this enough.

Excellent guide. The highlight of our visit to Helsinki. - Our guide was exceptional. She made our visit so much better. Her wealth of information about the country, city and local places made all of the difference for us. I would highly recommend this personal tour. Marina ( forgive me if I am spelling her name incorrectly) is a gifted tour guide and a lovely person. If we were staying longer we'd be requesting additional tours with her.

Really enjoyable way to walk around Helsinki. - We had a great time. We met our guide at 10am sharp an wandered the streets of Helsinki for almost 3 hours. Learned a lot about the complicated history of this wonderful city, ate some lovely food and saw some beautiful site. The only down side was that we travelled on a Sunday and a lot of places are closed then.

An outsider who became and insider and give a superior tour. - Angela was an amazing guide! She moved to Finland for a husband and she is from Columbia originally. She spoke perfect English and she really knows the town well. She has a day job as a professional so she only takes tours on weekends. She really knows the town well and brings a lot of it to life on our tour.

Great Personalized Helsinki Tour - Our tour guide, Angela, was amazing. She guided my wife and I on a personalized tour of the city. Angela was knowledgeable and happy to accommodate our specific requests and interests. Overall our experience was great! Highly recommended.

City tour with a local - Isabella knew her way around the city and where to go to get out of the rain for a bit. She took us to many interesting spots and showed us how to get thru the underground tunnels.

Awful service! - For some reason the date we entered was changed and they have NO service at all. Not flexible on refunding, NOTHING!

Disappointing experience - We had a terrible experience with Lokafy. About 16 hours before the scheduled tour I knew our first flight was delayed and we would likely miss our connection, thus making it impossible for the tour to occur as scheduled. The tour guide was unable to accommodate us at another time and Lokafy refused to accommodate us or give us a refund since it was less than 24 hours before the scheduled tour. There was no outlay of anything on their part and they were adamant and uncompromising. For circumstances that were completely out of my control, with plenty of notice, they were very uncompromising and unsympathetic.
