Superb adventure. Great food! - They picked us up right from the doc in front of where we stayed. This company is run by a local family and the uncle is the boat captain, and his nephew was the tour guide. My Fiancé and I had a BLAST! Fishing was great. The moment the sinker hit the bottom you'd get a hit and reel up a snapper. Neither one of us love fishing because typically there is just lots of sitting and waiting, but not this time. Then we went to the reef and snorkeled. It was lovely. Also, our guide pointed out conch shells on the sea floor. I dove to get them, and we brought them to the boat. Finally, we went to a tiny, private island and there were hammocks and such to relax in. Our captain removed the conchs from their shell and cleaned them and then our guide made fresh conch ceviche. It was AMAZING! We waded out from the island and did some more snorkeling while They cooked up the fish and veggies. Lunch was fresh and superb, and we both loved it. Also, they supplied rum punch! 😉 It was a superb outing. When we got home, we were pleasantly tired and lazed about in the pool for the rest of the afternoon.

Get To Know Belize is the real deal!!!! 10 stars, highly recommend! - Get To Know Belize is the real deal! Our golf cart was delivered on time, in new condition, no issues and easily one of the nicest carts in the village. Our Cook Your Catch tour was our family's favorite activity (we did over 10 different adventures) during our 2 weeks in Belize. Medz and Theo were professional, fun, highly skilled and had the best vibe! We caught fish, conch, lobster, snorkeled and had a truly incredible lunch cooked by them. I wish we would have had an opportunity to get out with them again. We also did the waterfall swim and shuttle back to Belize City for our flight out with Greg. He was true to the company reputation being fun, flexible (we randomly stopped for ice cream) and on time for everything. Josie and the staff online respond quickly and make setting anything up easy. Highly recommend and can't wait until we get to come back to hang out with them again.

An Unforgettable Experience!!! - My family did this tour and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! We started the morning rough as our children (ages 6 and 9) were not interested in going on the tour. However we warned the guides (Medz and Jeff) and they made our kids feel comfortable. We first went to catch bait. Then we fished with the bait. Medz was a great teacher and had a true passion for the craft. He knew where to get the fish and even taught my 6 year old daughter how to catch 7 fish. Next we snorkeled - Jeff knew how to teach my kids and husband (who was worried about snorkeling in the ocean). We ultimately had an experience of a lifetime snorkeling!!! It felt like we were inside of an aquarium. Finally we went to a private island where they cooked one of the best meals we had in Belize!!! Thanks Medz and Jeff! You made us feel like family! We won’t forget this.

Beautiful Belize barrier reef adventure - The Meds and Jeff team were amazing. They made us feel comfortable and pampered. We were lucky to have them for 2 different tours. They were super knowledgeable about their reef and it's conservation.

Best tour booking you can find! - What a great experience! We were treated like royalty by Medz and Terry. Medz is a great captain and chef. Terry was a great dive partner. He caught 2 lion fish and conch for us. He pointed out so many fish. I highly recommend Get to know Belize. Booking was made so easy by Laticia. We booked all 7 of our tours plus golf cart with GTKB once in Hopkins. Josie operates a wonderful company, plus she is a great cook. Thanks so much for a perfect first, but not last, Belize experience.

The Most Epic Afventure in Belize! - Sharks, turtles, dolphins, rays…. OH MY!!! I had no expectations when it came to fishing because otherwise it’s called “catching” but when we stopped on a private island to grill out catch, we feasted on lobster, crab, snapper, comch, delicious veggies & the best tasting chicken (that they brought in case we didn’t catch enough) I’ve ever had. The meal was worth the cost of the trip alone, but to top it off our guides Medz & Jeffrey, were teaching us, making us laugh, and taking excellent care of us the entire day! I had such good luck with the hand line! And we saw such a beautiful reef during our snorkeling that ended with a ray jumping out of the water with us next to him in the water AND 5 dolphins enjoying the afternoon at our boat on our way back to Hopkins. I have a lifetime of adventures to share with my journal from that one day alone! I can’t thank them enough!!!! And it’s woman owned!!!! The best! It’s that simple.

An AMAZING Day at Sea with GTKBA - You really can not visit the Caribbean and not get out to sea. The team from Get To Know Belize Adventures shared an AMAZING ADVENTURE with us sport fishing, snorkeling and then a wonderful BEACH BBQ with our fresh catch. A cold Belikin while enjoying a relaxing afternoon in the hammock made for the PERFECT DAY. A big shout out to Josie, Meds and Jeff for a great day ~ cheers!

So many activities in one it's a bargain! - This was the highlight of an amazing trip to Belize! The amount of activities included with this excursion makes it a bargain! We were out on the water looking at amazing views of the mainland, fishing, snorkeling, hanging out on a gorgeous private island, and it was the best meal we had on our vacation. The guides are great and it was awesome to learn more about Belize from locals. We recommended them to people we met on various shuttles and hotels. We had a great time and you will too! Can't recommend enough!

A fantastic day at sea - Medz and Jeff picked us up from the dock of Hopkins Bay Resort and we were off. They skillfully taught us how to fish and we caught enough fish to feed us all. Did some great snorkeling and then went to the private island where they expertly filleted and cooked our catch.

Amazing Experience! - Medz and Jeff made this experience the best ever! This experience was well worth every penny. From being picked up at our hotel dock, catching the bait, and as we caught the fish, we got to learn about the different types of fish we caught and learned about other fish around. Once we were done, my husband got to snorkel for the first time ever which was also a chance to learn about all the things he was seeing. After landing in Bread and Butter Caye we had some delicious salsa (homemade) and fruit and enjoyed our fish we caught! My husband and I were both fat, full and happy. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Hopkins!
