A day in Inis Mor - We wanted to visit the Aran Islands while traveling around Ireland, and booking with Aran Island Ferries was a good choice. The reservation includes the ferry from Rossaveel which is about 20+ miles outside of Galway, to Innismore, the largest of the three islands. If you don’t have a car- no worries- you can also book a shuttle bus run by Aran Island Ferries that will transport you back and forth from Galway. The shuttle takes about 45 minutes and lets you off right in front of the pier. Couldn’t be easier. And when your trip is over, the shuttle is at the dock waiting to take you back to the pick up point. (You do have to purchase this shuttle ticket separately. We went to the office near Eyre Square. We were also able to exchange our online voucher for actual tickets at the same time). Once on the island of Innismore you will see a line of minivans as soon as you get off the ferry. They will take you around the island and show you the important sights- giving you sufficient time to enjoy the different attractions. We chose Celtic Tours, and Patrick-our guide/driver- was wonderful! The tour runs roughly 4 hours-€25/each, and well worth it. You can also rent bicycles and do the tour on your own if you’d like. We had a very enjoyable day!

Fabulous! - E-biking the island was great. The cliffs at Dun Aengus are like mini Cliffs of Mohr and very worth seeing. Favorite was walking over rock terrain to reach the Worm Hole; spectacular natural rectangular pool. Highly recommend.

excellent - Bring your snacks, water and sun screen. Ferry ride is pleasant with toilets. we took the hop on/ off bus at the island and the driver, Martin was so much fun. we walked around all the sites, bought a wool scarf from the lovely Sara F and ate ice cream before resting for a pint. great 6 hours!

Trip to the Aran Islands - Great day over to the Aran Islands. Ferry departed on time - 10:30am. Bike hire recommended just by the port as you land. You can cover all the sites and have enough time to grab some food before the boat leaves at 5pm.

One of the must do things when visiting Galway - We booked our boat rid online , after travelling from Galway in the morning it took us about half an hour we parked in the car park , you pay when you exit , and made our way to the boat terminal, a large que had formed but we boarded fast , the weather that day was good but if it had been rough it would had been rough as we we’re outside the whole journey, there is seats inside if it had rained but we’re all taken , sick bags were available on request but we didn’t need , I seen bikes , dogs , and wheel chairs on board , it was clean and the staff were lovely ,toilets and a coffee shop on board as well . It took about an hour going and return seemed faster although you don’t see the time as there is so much to look at , when you get off you can rent bikes or go on a guided tour as we did with safari tours , he was wonderful and a lovely man full of craic and knowledge of the island, look out for him €20 per person, this was one of my best days on holiday a truly memorable experience.

Very nice day - We slept in Galway the day before, we had to allow some time the next day to reach the embarkation port because the road is very congested (allow an hour). The crossing went well, around 40 minutes, it's a shame that there are almost no places provided outside on the boat. Leaflets were distributed at the start, for a bike rental company, it was a good idea because we were looking for one and I was able to book online from the boat. Perfect day in Inishmore, cycling, some places are deserted, no one in sight, it feels good! and we had sunshine. We returned with the 5 p.m. ferry and a little pitching on the agenda. I recommend this company without problem.

Just book directly for the Aran Islands ferry - You get a voucher which you have to redeem either at the ferry terminal or in Galway. If you are just looking for tickets for the ferry you’re better off booking them directly through the ferry company.
