We admire its imposing minaret, its majestic courtyard of impressive dimensions, surrounded by superbly designed arcades and housing a sundial, and the tall, richly carved cedar wood doors. They open onto the prayer rooms, decorated with dozens of marble columns. Built in 670, this architectural masterpiece, whose appearance evokes an adobe fortress, inspired other mosques in the Maghreb.

Really knowledgeable guide - We did this tour with Rafi at the end of March 2024. He was so knowledgeable and provided extra information about all the spots. The lunch stop was extremely tasty buffet, and we felt like we had enough time in each location. Would really recommend this tour to understand more about the history and culture of the country.

Highly recommend! - Great experience! El Jem Roman Amphitheatre was a highlight but saw so many landmarks on this trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this private tour.
