One week Snow-Hiking - I was looking for an offbeat tour out from Srinagar and booked Kashmir Snow Trek with Kashmir Treks. I didn't know a lot about what to expect so every day was a surprise for us. We were two active mid- 50 year olds and this was not too difficult. Every day was more spectacular than the next aided by beautiful sunshine every day except for one period of about 30 minutes. The trip culminated wonderfully. We had a breathtaking hiking adventure. Meals were fresh and filling. Everyone raved about them and no one had dietary restrictions. We were provided with very warm camping gear, tents were pitched inside those Gypsy huts. Every evening we had bonfire. The staff performed very well in a responsible way. We enjoyed our one week hike. Kashmir Treks was infact a very good pick for the hiking tour. Many of our friends from home followed us on FB and added this trip to their bucket lists- it truly was spectacular. We strongly recommend this operator. Best Jamie & Mike

With proper guidance and arrangements from pillar to post was picture perfect . Follow up and approach was with accuracy … all this was possible only thru SKH and it’s key Mr Fayaz to take over so comfortably… anytime you may vouch on them to shoulder on . Beautifuly and well-organized trek - My husband and I chose Kashmir Treks to take our girls for the short trek in Kashmir in the onset of winter. Liyakat was our guide and he was great--super informative and funny. I appreciated when our guides were locals! He adapted our route to try and help us avoid herds of fellow tourists where we could. The spots were beautiful. We always felt safe with the crew and the girls enjoyed the tour very much. Book this tour.

Kashmir A Best Place - Honestly I am very glad to write a short review about Kashmir and the people there. We just arrived back home yesterday from a 7 day family tour to Kashmir. In truth, Kashmir is a safe place to visit and super safe for tourists. We were treated as ambassadors on our tour; given the fact a very small number of tourists turn to Kashmir these days due to the false media propaganda. We travelled a few places Gulmarg and Pahalgam as it was in the middle of winter. We enjoyed snow activities. We found people very honest and sincere. Our ski staff and the eqpt was of a good quality. We recommend Kashmir as a first tour destination in Asia. Its quiet, safe and very peaceful. The ski slopes are best in class. One can go for sightseeing or hiking in the mountains. We had a very economical package tour booked through KashmirTreks and it was worth it. Harrison R.

Kashmir Trek - Had heard a lot about the worsening security situations after the government took away its autonomy a very sad move indeed. When we landed at Srinagar airport we were taken by surprise to see the empty airport and tourist cabs and deserted roads. Hotels Boathouses were all closed. We managed to find a shelter at a lodge. As per our tour package we stayed a couple of days at Srinagar and noticed people were so friendly and accommodating. It was quite safe and there were no protests happening in and around Srinagar. The trek managed by Kashmir Treks was well organized and we were taken a good care. Our guide and equipment, everything was upto the mark. As per my personal view, Kashmir is very safe and quite and calm and people are friendly and peaceful. Those persons intending to visit Kashmir should carryon their plans. There's nothing to worry. People don't buy politics they need jobs. Thank you. Kaur
