Experience the spices and fruits on this mini tour - I have not been to the spice farms around Stone Town but being on the East coast, this place was the closest. A quite modest plot but contained many many examples of the spice and fruit grown in Zanzibar. It took around 90 minutes and ended with drinking fresh coconut ant being presented with woven palm adornments 😃We were knowledgeablely guided around by our guide and his two understudies. Interactive with lots to taste touch and smell.

Any botanic garden near you has probably more plants than this one. The (very) few monkeys were cute though!!! - If you are into trees and their scientific names , then it's OK. The tour consists in a walk in a damp, small forest, a short bridge along mangroves (all similar ones in the world are better and richer) and a stopover to see 5 (really 5 and no more) cute monkeys. Spice farm: again, walk around few plants badly kept, surroundings not nice. It's an experience that can be added in a visit to Zanzibar, but I don't believe it can be called great.
