Excellent Tour and would highly recommend. - Had a great 6 day / 5 nights safari in April visiting Ambroseli, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara. We had an excellent tour guide Charles who was so knowlegdable about everything about all the animals and was easy company and a pleasure to be with. We manage to see an increible amoun to animals: plenty of lions, elephants, giraffs, hippos, as even some rhinos, cheathas and leopard. Importantly too Charles was an excellent driver and we always felt super safe on the long drives even when we had to make detours on regional roads. Organising the tour with Stephen and Geophrey was super easy and they took care of everything. As a vegetarian I was a bit nervous about the food situation, but there was always plenty of choice at every hotels. The hotels themselves were a high standard and more high end then the "mid range" option we thought. Only note I advise people is if you are doing the 6 days / 5 nights tour, that it is a long time in car and the distances between each park are huge. As a result we didn't spend much time in Lake Nakuru and if I was to plan the trip again i would either skip it or spend an extra day there. I personally didn't enjoy it as the other two parks but I've met plenty of people where it was there favourite of the three.

A memory family trip in Kenya - Very friendly and responsible people. We a family of 4 has a stress-free and a very enjoyable tour. The driver was very jovial and engaging. Starting from the planning stage Mariel guided me so well that I had no doubt in my mind that we would be having our best time in Kenya. She is very reliable.

Safari - I am delighted to say how fantastic my safari experience that I booked for me and my two teenage girls was. It exceeded everything I expected and the service we got from booking until the end of our trip was second to none. Our private driver was brilliant and very knowledgeable about everything, he really knew his job! I would recommend Kichaka tours to anybody, you will not be disappointed.

Best trip ever simply mesmerised by Kenya and excellent hospitality by Kichaka - We were a group of 10 with one 7 year old and with elderly over 60. Kichaka had planned excellent itinerary taking in account all the needs of the group. Day 1 onwards we all had best holiday ever imagined. The guides were knowledgeable and had in-depth knowledge of her local flora and fauna including the tradition, specially to mention Gerald who took special care and ensured we had best of the game drives. The jeeps were in good condition.Kichaka even helped us to get COVID test done in middle of the forest. Kichaka helped us even after we had an eventful cancellation of flights by Kenya airways and provide all the support in their capacity. Stephen is always reachable and quick to respond. Safari to Kenya - Hai, I am Sreejith. I went Kenya with my family for six days package through Kichaka tours and travels, on 16th july to 21st july. It was a wonderful trip. We went Amboseli National park, Lake Nakuru and Masai mara. On 16th we reached Kenya airport. Mr Stephen and Risper welcomed us in the airport and explained everything about our trip also we got a very good experienced driver/guide Mr. Charles, He have a very good knowledge about the wild animals and their movements. Karibu Kenya 🇰🇪 - Dear Steven and Stephen from Kichaka tours, Africa is full of natural beauty, fresh air and welcoming people. I can't ever dream of a place as beautiful as Kenya. Steve is an amazing guide who was very patient, answered all our queries and joked around a lot with 😁. Lake Naivsha, Nakharu and masai mara are the destinations we covered. Steven made sure we see the Big 5 and saw lot of big cats. Seeing the animals in their natural habitat at such close proximity is a feeling you will understand only when you do the same. Have to say it made me feel like I'm in Lion king. We were there for 5 days, I wish I would stay for more as you want more of it. This was one of the most memorable experiences I've had. Safari - We just completed a wonderful safari thru Kichaka. We were able to easily coordinate with Stephen our needs and plans. Our safari driver and guide was Gerald. He was excellent in his knowledge base. We tested him many times and he always was able to explain something new to us. We saw the "big 5" along with numerous other animals and birds. I cannot figure out how he can see the smallest glimpses of animals so easily. We learned a lot about Kenya thru him as well. He was truly interested in seeing the animals. Laughing and smiling with what the animals did and how we reacted to the animals as well. It did not feel like it was "just another job". We appreciated our time in Kenya and would recommend Kichaka again.

Memorable Safari experience in Kenya from Kichaka Tours! - Hakuna Matata! That is how I will sum my experience with Kichaka. We were a group of 16 people including 6 kids and we were quite worried as to how the experience would be. Given that we are all Jain Vegetarians we were also quite worried about the food and worried if we will get any Indian options at all in the properties booked via Kichaka. Secondly we were also worried if the drivers will be good enough and take good care of the group especially the kids. Thankfully, Kichaka came clear in both the aspects. They had instructed the properties to prepare special Indian veg food for us. Drivers were also very good and cooperative. I particularly remember an incident when were stuck in a big traffic jam on the way from Masai Mara to Nairobi, the drivers strived to find an alternate route and managed to take us through that route and we reached Nairobi on time. One small feedback for Kichaka - quality of cars can be better !!! Many thanks to Kichaka team for making our journey memorable

Below standard service - Very bad & scary experience with Kichaka 1. We went for Kichaka due to good recommendation from a friend. Our friend had particularly told us to book Charles as driver guide through Kichaka 2. We approached Stephen almost 2 months before travel, he said he cant guarantee availability of Charles but will try his best 3. 2 days before departure he allocated another guide saying guide allocated to us is excellent 4. We had serious issues with the guide : communication was a challenge, guide was outrightly rude and non enthusiastic. We felt like he was just trying to cut corners to save extra instead of focusing on customer satisfaction. He barely talked on his own and gave half hearted replies. There was never any advice from him whatsoever. We even tipped the guide almost everyday to keep him motivated, but didnt work. We would generally be the first or second car to be back to hotel from safaris. Driver even made us pay for guides, though it was included in package. When we countered with Stephen, he said driver wasnt aware of what was included in our package and that he will refund later ( how can the driver not know this, whom stephen had completely delegated the safari to ) 5. Car allocated to us for safari didnt have even radio working - while all other guides communicated through radio.. we had no access to quickly know the spots.. out of 2 passenger doors.. one didnt open.. 6. Worse of all was last day.. we had asked stephen to come and meet us at airport & were to pay his balance 7% as agreed with him on last day and also understand our feedback which he was pretending not to understand. But since we were communicating to him on driver & vehicle issues, he wanted to ensure he gets the payment before airport. Without our information ( forget consent), we were driven to a hotel while being told we are going to airport. We told the driver we dont want to go to any hotel, he said he has insturctions from stephen to do this. Stephen didnt turn up at the hotel on time, we told the driver we want to leave.. he said Stephen has told him to ensure the 7% is paid before we leave hotel. We just paid the balance 7%, as all we wanted then was to arrive safely at airport. 7. Kichaka and Stephen should understand that taking tourists to another place from what has been discussed & agreed is a breach of trust & safety. Kichaka was aware we had booked the most premium hotels everywhr on the trip & just wanted excellent experience and not cut cost. 8. Kenya otherwise is a beautiful country- we met amazing people at all our hotels, and never felt unsafe except for the last day which really scared us for our safety 9. To save his face, Stephen messaged us later that he called us at hotel to treat us for lunch to make up for the shortfall in his services and nothing else !!!

Terrible experience - The most important factor for safari experience is driver as Kichaka completely delegates to him & he stays with you for entire trip. We were assigned a driver whose first reply for everything was negative and we had to keep persuading him to try a bit more. In our 4 days of safari, not even one day we felt like going for a full day safari given the attitude of the driver. Pls ensure driver being allocated to you has good reviews before booking safari with Kichaka.
