Family Trip-Gap of Dunloe Tour - Highly recommend this tour! They picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back off there as well…..so convenient!! We were lucky to have absolutely beautiful weather for the entire day! Bring cash for lunch at Lord Brandon’s Cottage and a pint at Kate’s at the end of the tour. Also, be advised there are portions of the each tour that requires some walking…boat tour-low water levels…the Gap tour—helping out the horses-jaunting cart. We enjoyed this to stretch our legs but just good to know when booking. Just a wonderful tour of the lakes and the Gap of Dunloe.

Happy with the Gap - Beautiful excursion! When there was a mix up, they resolved VERY quickly. We did this excursion 18 years ago and wanted to do it again when we brought our kids back this time

Beautiful scenery! - This was a really fun excursion! From the meeting point, you are bussed out to where the jaunting carts congregate. The drivers are very organized, four people to a jaunting cart (cash only), so our party of two was paired with another couple.Liam and his dad were great guides; very entertaining:). Be warned that there is a portion of the ride where everyone gets out and walks up a couple of steep hills. I had a walking boot on at the time, so was able to stay in the cart, which made this a pretty good activity to get out and see a lot of things even with limited mobility. There is a nice restaurant (cash only) where are you take a break for a while before the boats take off back to Killarney. The boats are small, open boats, and you go across the lakes until you get back to town. Very scenic!

Best way to experience The Gap of Dunloe - What a wonderful day! The boat ride was beautiful. Scenery you won’t see from the road. Then the Jaunting Cart! Our driver was local and so fun to chat with. You can’t beat the views from a wide open cart. Lived it!

Stunning scenery and experience! - An absolute MUST when visiting Ireland. Stunning scenery and knowledgeable guides. We were blessed with incredible weather as well! If you are taking a jaunting car, be prepared for a decent amount of walking up a steep incline along the way as there is a stretch that is too hard for the horses with a carload. Would definitely do it again!!

Wonderful variety! - Our weather was rainy and blustery, but we still had a fantastic time! Be prepared to walk a bit uphill during the jaunting part of the excursion as the horse may tire during the steep incline portion if you have several people in your cart. The Gap of Dunloe view coming down was exquisite!

Wow, wow WOW - An absolutely breathtaking and spectacular day. We loved every minute of it. We were considering walking, but decided to take the Jaunting cart, and we are SO glad we did! It made our trip even more memorable. I can’t speak highly enough of our guide-Micheal, he answered all our questions and spoke so passionately about the area-his local knowledge was second to none. We then had the most delicious vegetable soup at the cafe-an absolute must-before getting on the boat tour. Rory, like Micheal was amazing, I can’t help thinking how lucky we were to have both these guides taking us on our tour Honestly the most amazing day, couldn’t recommend it more

Wonderful cherished adventure! - We loved every minute of it. The classic bus was adorable!!! Our boat captain Timmy was authentic and great! We got soaked in the boat the weather turned windy and rainy… that just added to the adventure! The jaunting cart was an absolute highlight and very exciting! Our driver Mike was awesome… we laughed all the way! Tom our horse was mighty, strong and wonderful! He liked the hugs of gratitude afterwards. We will cherish this memory forever! ❤️
