Moving and Informative - This was a very good and informative experience. The tour began early in the morning when we left for Auschwitz and Birkenau. The Guide was outstanding and the tour was both informative and moving. We then took time for lunch which was included with the tour. After lunch we went to the Salt Mine. This was a pretty cool tour. Again, the Guide was great. The accomplishments inside the mine itself were amazing and definitely worth seeing. After the Salt Mine tour we were brought back to our hotel in Krakow. Warnings about this experience. It is a long day and you will walk about 7 miles in total. There were some who were finding it difficult to keep up, so be prepared. The Tour is well worth it!

Auschwitz and Wielicza salt mines - A challenging trip for obvious reasons. The guide was very good with appropriate knowledge and respect for the visit to Auschwitz. The salt mines were well worth a visit and the whole day worked very we.. Be ready for an early start though.

Great tour - The Auschwitz-Birkenau tour was very informative, we had a great guide who was very clear and took us round at a steady pace. Wear flat, comfortable shoes as the ground is slightly uneven and a bit muddy if it’s wet. The tour is well organised with toilet stops at each location. Lunch at Auschwitz II was surprisingly excellent. Everyone was given a lunchbox with chicken pasta salad, a ham and cheese roll, chocolate, an apple and a bottle of water. The salt mine was really interesting, not what I expected. There is a lot of stairs on the way down but a lift brings you back up. Our guide, Mark, was excellent, he brought a lot of knowledge and some humour to the tour. There are 2 stops in the mines with an opportunity to buy snacks, drinks and souvenirs and to use the toilets. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Krakow, it is a very early start (0610 in our case) so it is a long day but worth it.

Excellent trip worth doing! - The whole trip was so well organised! Pick up times sent out the day prior, everything went so smoothly, the lunch included was very good! Our driver was very polite, the trip was excellent and really worth the money, a long day but definitely one worth doing! Dropped back off at our hotel, Auschwitz-Birkenau was very eye opening and the salt mines gave you a nice lift in mood after, highly recommend

Didn't realise just how much walking was involved. - Auscwicz & Birkenau was a great tour, very moving, and the guides are very informative and knowledgeable. It's hard to comprehend exactly how atrocious the conditions were back then. You really must have walking shoes on for this tour, there is a lot of walking and standing. The salt mine was good but where I was so tired because of the walking I didn't appreciate the mine as much, my advice would be do the tours separately, one day apart, you'll thank me for it. The mine you have to walk down over 800 steps alone, without the 3km of tunnels you have to walk through. Dint get me wrong, it was good but exhausting. Over the 3 tours, I managed just over 27000 steps, just over 11 miles. The bus is very cramped for your transfers from each attraction, I was picked up from the hotel promptly in a very nice minibus and thought we was lucky, but your taken to a meeting point where you are crammed in the bus. Everyone moaned about the bus.
