Beautiful day in Kuranda - What a beautiful day we had, a group of 20 people led by Chris in various places, visiting the forest in an army duck, a WW2 amphibious vehicle this part replaced the train which was broken down but we did not lose at change😁., the koala wildlife park, the pretty village of kuranda we were able to have lunch and stroll through the different small markets and stores there, then departure for the skyrail cable car to Smithfield which with its 2 stops in magnificent places including the very impressive Barron Falls waterfalls allow you to take wonderful photos and memories of this Australian region. Chris provided us with lots of explanations and always made sure the group was complete. The only negative comment concerns the park where the animals do not have much space, particularly the kangaroos, but Brett's Kuranda is not responsible for this. Thank you for this day, I recommend

Thankyou Brett - We had a great trip to Kuranda with Brett's Tours! It was our last day in Cairns and we were desperate to do the train and skyrail however they wouldn't allow us to leave our baggage at the train station so we thought we may have to miss out. Brett and his team stepped up to help us out stored our bags for us and sorted the whole trip out. We can't thank you enough and we had such a good time on our last tour before heading back to the UK.

Worth a visit - Pick up from local hotel bang on time, great, informative, very funny guide. It’s a long day but worth it. The railway is a very long, old train and passes waterfalls and other very scenic route. Each carriage has a toilet.

UNESCO Kuranda Forest. Sky train added bonus. - This was a shore excursion. Enjoyed the sky train , Kuranda forest , Butterfly. You get to see alot on a shore excursion day. Well organized. Lunch on our own in Kuranda. The big highlight is actually the UNESCO rainforest. This sky train you can see how immense and how deep the rainforest is. Several waterfalls. Make sure you bring a hat and bring your sunscreen. At the top of the sky train you could see the port and the ocean. Beautiful!

Mixed bag but that said I would do it again. - We loved the sky rail and enjoyed our short walk around the rainforest. Then we headed over to Kuranda Village. We had originally intended to go to Koala Gardens but we arrived late and we missed our reservation time. That can happen so we just strolled around the village instead. It was nice but not what I expected. I thought it would be a lot of homemade goods but it was a lot of shops and food to go places. Then we went on the train ride which was very cool, through the rainforest. It was very informative but also very long.

Adventure day - Brett was really friendly, only a small group which was just lovely. It was disappointing that people are allowed to smoke on the cable car walk, markets and lunch were great, and the stop off at the local pub broke up the trip

The journey there and back was an experience, the village of Kuranda a complete disappointment - The train ride and the Skyrail are truly an experience that you should definitely do. The village of Kuranda, on the other hand, is a total tourist trap. All the markets were closed and it has nothing to do with anything traditional.
